I composed this song about 6 years back as part of my attempt to do a full length musical about a train targeted by terrorists. the whole project was about 45 minutes long until I abandoned it due to it taking up so much of my time as I wanted to start focusing my attention on songs such as the one\'s that I have uploaded to this site. Originally this part was to be the destruction of the train with a helicopter pursuing it and giving it\'s coordinates for the launch of a missile which demolishes the train, or so the terrorists believe but for this video I have put together a different scenario where the poor \
Notorious pirates of the sea known for their ruthlessness and cunning to obtain that which satisfies their eternal quest for gold, treasures of wonderment and delight, unseen fortunes only whispered in folklore by the lips of the unfortunate souls who had dared to utter a word of such riches of the deep before meeting with their tragic fate are now in hot pursuit of the fairest treasure told by the tongues of the silenced with their dying breaths.
ELENA HOUSE, the fairest maiden of the sea is now being pursued by the evil rogues who have claimed the ocean to be their own trophy for the taking as they plunder and blunder throughout the high seas to capture and imprison she who they believe will soon to be their damsel of delights.
Little do our sea bearing proprietors of possessions know that the fair maiden is actually ELENA HOUSE AKA \
Being one who loves to indulge in the fear of things that go bump in the night, I used to sneak downstairs and quietly watch the Creature Feature movie hoping not to wake up mom and dad. If they caught me I knew that the only thing that would go bump in the night was me. Still sometimes I would hear the approach of slippers and then I would shut the TV off and hide. As soon as I would hear that he was at the far side of the basement I'd make my move and and gun it up the stairs...
As I'm approaching the time of certain eviction, I've been proving to myself what a little pressure can do to get the creative juices flowing and I am somewhat amazed by how quickly I have been creating and organizing enough videos that would have normally stretched out the span of this year and probably throughout 2014, all inside the time frame of a month. Particularly in the case of this song which is one of several songs that I have been working on that are somewhat more complex and exhibit my full potential as a musician. This song would have normally taken me a full year to compose and like some of my other prouder creations, I figured that there just was no time left for me to complete this kind of composition. Although admittedly I did rough it as I wrapped up the song in a day and took about one hour on the video but I think that with this one, I have successfully achieved my goal. I can always redo this at a later time when I get resettled and back in the groove.
I managed to complete one more song and video in record time. This is the kind of music that I wanted to eventually upload. What is a shame is the fact that I have a vast amount of songs, mostly incomplete that sound just as good as this one and could be completed as fast as I have been doing but I've got enough material to last me 5 life times and as quickly as I work on one, 5 more ideas pop in my head. I must have some kind of song writing disorder
This is one of those projects where I just wanted to see how far I could go in the direction of symphonic music. I found this to be one of my greater challenges. I think it has a unique contrast from a realistic sound to perhaps electronic. Either way I'm not going to enjoy trying to decide exactly what genre this it when applicable.
Now that I am forced to going back to using Windows XP Movie Maker and thus once again enduring mega technical issues such as continual freeze ups and failure to be able publish a video in it's entirety, this video was only publishing 60% of my work here. I chopped and cropped the original video into 5 parts and inserted those parts into a final video and muted the sound due to split second skips now in the audio and inserted a fresh audio track and now it looks like I have a finished product.
