Anyone who has seen the blockbuster movies The Thomas Crown Affair or Bullitt will want to read The Pursuit of Happiness, a new novel by the same writer, Alan Trustman. The highest paid screenwriter in Hollywood at one time, Trustman now turns his pen to fiction, which reads and moves with the same crime thriller speed as his movies. From the opening chapter we are rocketed into the world of a Boston bad boy who is recruited to work for the government. “All of the material in The Pursuit of Happiness is true,” says Trustman. “Not a lot of people know that Boston was the contract killing capitol of the country throughout the 1940s – 1970s. Maybe later. I did a lot of research on the Boston gang wars.” Media Contact: For a review copy of Silver Dollar or to arrange an interview with Alan Trustman, contact Scott Lorenz of Westwind Communications Book Marketing at scottlorenz@westwindcos.com or by phone at 734-667-2090 http://www.book-marketing-expert.com Thriller

A change is coming to the checkout. This fall national retailers are turning on newly installed payment terminals aimed at better protecting consumers from cybercrime and credit card fraud. These machines are designed to accept new, more secure credit cards, commonly referred to as “chip” cards. These new credit cards will contain an embedded microchip that cannot be replicated, making it more difficult for hackers to use stolen card numbers to produce fraudulent credit cards. Retailers are spending billions of dollars putting in place new payment terminals that are certified for chip card acceptance. This will ensure they are not held liable for counterfeit fraud usage when new cards make their way to the marketplace, and will ensure a more secure transaction for consumers compared to current technology. WTF or WHAT THE FLUSH! The makers of the Stealth® ultra-high efficiency toilet and Bravo’s “Flipping Out” Star Jenni Pulos want to see more people saving both water and precious dollars when they flush. On average, 27 percent of water consumption in the home comes from flushing it right down the toilet, which is completely avoidable – that’s not even mentioning the water lost by old or deteriorated flappers that leak. Niagara Conservation Corp. created the Stealth Toilet which uses less than one gallon of water per flush (0.8 gallons per flush to be exact) relative to the average toilet that uses 3.5 to 5 gallons per flush. “As a California resident, I feel the gravity and importance of water conservation. That’s why I’m asking America to stop this invisible drain on our planet,” said Pulos. “With the Stealth Toilet we can do our part to save water and money with every flush. So join the cause for water conservation and say it with me – #WhatTheFlush!" To view the multimedia release go to: http://www.multivu.com/players/English/7789051-niagara-conservation-whattheflush/
