Nuorilang Waterfall, located in Sichuan province’s Jiuzhai Valley, recently took the top spot in an online poll for China’s Top 10 Most Beautiful Waterfalls.
The 270-meter wide, 24.5 meter high Nuorilang Waterfall, at 2,365 meters, is an expansive travertine waterfall and the widest waterfall in China. Nuorilang means “male god” in Tibetan and symbolizes both majesty and sublimity. The waterfall freezes in winter, creating the rare phenomenon of blue ice under warm sunshine, making the waterfall an unusually distinctive stop among Jiuzhai Valley’s many attractions.

Portland, Oregon has the best preterm birth rate of the top 100 cities with the most births nationwide, while Shreveport, Louisiana has the worst, according to the 2015 March of Dimes Premature Birth Report Card, which for the first time graded cities and counties around the nation and revealed persistent racial, ethnic and geographic disparities within states.
The U.S. preterm birth rate ranks among the worst of high-resource countries, the March of Dimes says. Worldwide, 15 million babies are born preterm, and nearly one million die due to early birth or its complications. Babies who survive an early birth often face serious and lifelong health problems, including breathing problems, jaundice, vision loss, cerebral palsy and intellectual delays.

The four-day Amgen Breakaway from Heart Disease Women's Race Empowered with SRAM May 19-22 marks the U.S. debut of the Women’s WorldTour and will showcase some of the best talent in the sport. The peloton will include two-time Olympic champion Kristin Armstrong and eight Rio Olympic hopefuls.
The eight-stage men’s event began Sunday with 18 of the world’s most decorated and esteemed teams competing for one of the sport’s most coveted titles. The report reveals the U.S. faces large challenges to solve congestion issues, fueled by continued economic and population growth, higher employment rates and declining gas prices. Cities that have experienced the most economic improvement during the past year are at highest risk for consequences related to worsened traffic conditions, including reduced productivity, higher emissions and increased stress levels. For example, Washington D.C., San Francisco, New York, Seattle and Boston all saw reduced unemployment rates bringing them below the national average of 5.3 percent for 2015.1 However, according to the INRIX Traffic Scorecard, congestion in those cities alone combined to waste 1.5 billion hours for daily car commuters last year. Nationwide, commuters spent a total of more than eight billion extra hours stuck in traffic, representing almost 50 hours per driver.

To do this, Goodyear will honor babies born in Akron-area hospitals during the NBA Finals with a “Most Valuable Ride” care package consisting of a set of Goodyear tires, an “AkronBorn” onesie and a brand-new infant car seat.
Three Akron-based medical facilities – Summa Akron City Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Akron General and Akron Children’s Hospital – will “assist” the initiative and help deliver the care packages to families of newborns. The package builds on Goodyear’s recent Safe Mobility Project with Akron Children’s Hospital.
