Rowenta, maker of the revolutionary new air purifier the Intense Pure Air, is collaborating with renowned Environmental Toxicologist Dr. Noreen Khan-Mayberry (aka “The Tox Doc”), to help allergy sufferers better manage their symptoms. An estimated 50 million Americans are allergic to dust, dander, mold and mites, which can cause trouble breathing, excessive sneezing, eye irritation and coughing, amongst other ailments.
Seasonal allergies affect approximately 30% of U.S. residents and are worsening due to climate change, which is not only causing an increase in pollen levels, but also extending the length of pollen season. As such, allergy sufferers and people with asthma and other respiratory issues are at an even greater risk for heightened symptoms both indoors and outdoors.

Water has played an important role in the Stella Artois brewing heritage for more than 600 years, and is an essential ingredient in the Stella Artois that is brewed today. Yet 663 million people lack access to clean water – a global crisis that disproportionately affects women, who spend millions of hours a day collecting it. Stella Artois has again partnered with Water.org to drive awareness of the global water crisis, and calls on consumers to help leave a legacy as the generation that ends this crisis, once and for all.
The “Buy a Lady a Drink” campaign was first launched in 2015 to utilize Stella Artois’ global footprint to help positively impact this important issue. Last year the campaign focused on women’s long journeys for clean water. This year, the campaign showcases the positive impact that access to clean water can have, while inspiring consumers to leave a positive mark on the world.
“I’ve seen how the lives of women and their families can change when they get access to clean water,” said Water.org Co-Founder Matt Damon. “Access to water is access to education, access to work, access to the kind of future we want for all humankind. Thanks to our partnership with Stella Artois, this year’s ‘Buy a Lady a Drink’ campaign helps us tell this story – and gives consumers the chance to help us change it.”

TruGreen, the nation’s leading professional lawn care company helping people live life outside, is expanding its expert service offerings with the launch of TruGreen Mosquito Defense to help homeowners combat mosquitoes and help protect their families.
As the weather gets warmer, these backyard invaders can prevent homeowners from reaping the benefits of living life outside. According to a recent online survey conducted by Harris Poll on behalf of TruGreen, among over 2,000 U.S. adults, 85 percent of Americans say that mosquitoes limit their or their family’s outdoor activities during the months they’re most active. The same survey also found that nearly two thirds of Americans (64 percent) are concerned about protecting themselves and their family from Zika or other mosquito-borne illnesses. Furthermore, 65 percent of Americans use bug spray on themselves/their family to combat mosquitoes outdoors at home and though it’s the top response for preventative measures, still only half (51 percent) say it is most effective at preventing mosquitoes from biting outdoors at home.

With the onset of winter season in the country, breathing problems and respiratory diseases will also be on the rise. To ensure that patients with respiratory problems breathe with ease, a comprehensive patient Mobile App named “My Breathefree” has been launched as a virtual caregiver by ‘Breathefree’, a public service initiative by Cipla. This app is specifically designed for Indian conditions and is available on Google play store and iOS platform for all patients, caregivers and doctors.
One of the major chronic respiratory problems in the country is asthma and “My Breathefree” app will be a great help towards better asthma management and control. For children in hospitals, sometimes the best medicine and moments of joy can come with four paws, a wet nose, and a wagging tail. Today, the Joy in Childhood Foundation, the independent charitable foundation powered by Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins, is launching its Dogs for Joy program to bring in-residence dogs to children’s hospitals nationwide. Dogs in this program are bred and trained as service dogs but “work” full-time in children’s hospitals. Through more than $2M in initial grants the program will dramatically increase the number of in-residence dog programs in pediatric healthcare settings around the country and the prevalence of animal-assisted therapy as part of treatment.
