Raga Khambaj by RANJAN MAHARAJ. Ranjan Maharaj is one of the rare talented unparallel traditional Sitar players of India. He is presently a regular artist of All India Radio (A.I.R). His real name is Ranjan Roy,but he was honoured with the title \'Maharaj\' meaning The King. This video was recorded at The Dyol Music Festival,Singapore,Little India.This is an editted version to fit in youtube.com, as because this video was a three hours long continuous Sitar play by Ranjan Maharaj.
This raga Khammaj, is played in a very rare exotic style,which is specially boldly wittnessed during the last few minutes of the video.
