It is amazing to think of the undiscovered treasures that are lurking in attics, cellars and barns around the world, following Campen Auktioner’s recent discovery of more than 50 Renault automobiles in a barn on the Danish island of Funen in January this year.
Although many of the cars are non-runners, they were carefully prepared and waxed before being placed into storage for almost five decades. The Danish collection bears all of the call signs of a dedicated enthusiast with a great passion for Renault and their contributions to the families of the fifties, sixties and seventies.
The owner of this amazing discovery, Anker Krarup, calmly maintains that his collection is a consequence of pure coincidence; it began very simply when he decided to upgrade from a bicycle to an automobile in 1968. He chose the Renault 4CV because he once sat at a dinner table with a man whose wife drove the same model. Despite having a broken heater, and later a broken engine, the 4CV was repaired and used for many years- it even helped Krarup to woo his wife-to-be along the way.

After his wife of 54 years died in 2006, Chuck Swartwout decided there had to be more to life than merely the time spent on earth.
This realization motivated him to take a long analytical look at the afterlife, which he believes we will all enter after death. Using his training in the scientific method, Swartwout researched and published You Don’t Die – You Just Change Channels! which he describes as a ‘common sense’ approach to prove the existence of an afterlife.http://www.chuckswartwout.com/ Media Contact: For a review copy of You Don’t Die – You Just Change Channels! or to arrange an interview with Chuck Swartwout, contact Scott Lorenz of Westwind Communications Book Marketing at scottlorenz@westwindcos.com or by phone at 734-667-2090 http://www.book-marketing-expert.com Inspirational
Beringer Vineyards, one of the most acclaimed producers in Napa Valley, announces the launch of Better Beckons, its 2016 multichannel advertising campaign inspired by hand-holding, Instagram sensations Murad and Nataly Osmann. Known for shooting breathtaking photographs of his wife leading him all over the world, Murad has captured the brand’s promise to “bring the better” to consumers in a series of campaign visuals that evoke Beringer’s authentic American heritage.
Beringer Vineyards was founded in 1876 by two brothers from Germany, Jacob and Frederick Beringer, who built their legacy on the pioneering belief that great wine could be made in Napa. Today, one of California’s most iconic wineries known for quality at a variety of price points, Beringer’s storied heritage is rooted in the spirit of American optimism - the belief that the best has yet to come.
“Better Beckons is a natural extension of my photography style, as it invites viewers to experience authentic and unique moments,” observed Osmann, creative director behind the campaign. “Photographing material from a first-person perspective is ideal to capture one’s own sense of curiosity and create an optimistic view that suggests there is more to be seen.”
