It is time for a new New Testament. In February of 2012, a council of scholars and spiritual leaders, convened by religious scholar Hal Taussig, came together to discuss, debate, and reconsider which books belong in the New Testament. They talked about dozens of newly found texts, their lessons, and how they inform the previously bound books. Reading the existing New Testament alongside these new texts—The Gospel of Luke with The Gospel of Mary, Paul’s letters with The Letter of Peter to Philip, The Revelation to John with The Secret Revelation to John—offers the exciting possibility of understanding both—the new and the old—better. What were early Christians’ concerns? What was daily practice? What was a woman’s place? How was Jesus remembered and his message promoted? In this imaginative reframing, Taussig presents explanatory introductions and additional historical background alongside the traditional New Testament books and ten newly included scriptures, all bringing us closer to a full appreciation of these documents and their impact on spiritual life. Ahead of World Mental Health Day, today sees the publication of the Mental Health Integration Index, a new research initiative commissioned by the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson and undertaken by the Economist Intelligence Unit.1 The research explores the challenges of integrating Europeans with mental illness into society and employment, within the European Union’s 28 Member States, plus Norway and Switzerland. Countries have been ranked according to their degree of commitment to support those living with mental illness; the findings demonstrate that while there are many examples of good practice across Europe, the whole region has a long way to go before people with mental illness are adequately supported and truly integrated into their communities.

At a time when educators and policymakers are placing a high priority on quality early childhood education, Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts today announced results of a four-year study showing that its arts integration teaching model bolsters young children’s math achievement. Conducted by independent evaluators at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), Findings from the Evaluation of the Wolf Trap Arts in Education Model (the Study) examined the effects of an arts-integrated teaching approach on teachers’ practice and students’ math knowledge.

With gout incidence on the rise, an increasing number of medical professionals, across multiple fields of practice, will continue to be exposed to patients who suffer from gout and are seeking an accurate diagnosis and treatment. However, despite the availability of the “Guidelines for the Management of Gout” by the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), there are many inconsistencies in how gout is diagnosed, treated and discussed by medical professionals. Conflicting messages and treatment recommendations can contribute to confusion, and even lack of compliance, on behalf of the patient – particularly when gout is connected with comorbid conditions, such as kidney disease, heart disease or diabetes.

Over 50 PR agencies and in-house PR departments came together to witness the first PR Pressure conference, which took place on Wednesday, 25 May 2016, at the Dusit Thani, Dubai. The event, organised by Secret PR, marks the first of an annual series of conferences that address the struggles faced by PR professionals in the Middle East. Leading up to the next conference, Secret PR will be taking proactive steps towards providing pragmatic solutions for the issues raised at the event.
One of the highlights from the conference was a series of open discussions surrounding opinions on the media and the PR industry. Inspired by a popular hashtag, #UAEPR, the event offered an open and professional approach to the shortcomings of both industries in order to encourage better practice amongst journalists and PR professionals. These sessions were headed by speakers from PR agencies and media, including Nick Rego, Senior Editor at tbreak.com, Sudeshna Ghosh, a consulting editor and freelance writer, Shereen Shabnam, Consultant Head of PR for octOpus and MTE Studios, and Louay Al-Sammarai, Joint Managing Director and Co-Founder of Active (Digital. Astronaut Says ALSEP Equipment Not 1/6 Gravity- is As Heavy As it Was At Cape Canaveral Space Training Center.
In being on the Moon, any weight of people and objects would be 1/6 of the gravity, than they are on Earth. Astronaut Jack in carrying the ALSEP experimental equipment before setting it up in the Fake Moon Bay, says that the equipment weighs almost as much as it did in the Cape Canaveral Space Training Center. The Cape is where the Astronauts did practice runs in setting up their ALSEP experiment equipment, the exact same equipment in specifications & weight that they used supposedly on the Moon.

It’s always preferred to talk about sex before you get into the heat of the moment. But usually, it never happens that way because it’s kind of risqué to bring it up especially on the first date. For sure, it’s going to scare your date away. Definitely, you can’t be too articulate about it but just keep it under wraps. It’s like you can’t be too obvious about it. Think it this way, what if your date catches you bringing condoms; most probably it’s going to be a complete turn off. But it’s highly recommended to discreetly prepare one just in case of emergency. Primarily, in practicing safe sex, men are much more obligated to bring condoms with them. However, it’s also strongly suggested for women to bring their own condoms during their first time date. Just pull it up in the event that the guy forgets to bring one. Just make sure you know when to show it and don’t show too much concession especially at the initial part. Otherwise, the guy may think that you’re a slut. It’s like a double standard though.
