The 2014 Chicago Auto Show is now open to the public. Held in the McCormick Place complex, the Chicago Auto Show is the largest auto show in North America and has been held more times than any other auto exposition on the continent. A ten-month clinical trial at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia has determined that hard surfaces and linens infused with copper oxide compounds contributed to an 83% reduction in C-difficile and a 78% overall reduction in a host of multi-drug resistant organisms (MDROs) including C-diff, MRSA and VRE in a real-world clinical environment. These results occurred in a hospital with a robust protocol for managing infection risk certified by the health care accrediting body DNV-GL Healthcare.
The results of the trial were published in the peer-reviewed American Journal of Infection Control on Sept. 28, 2016 and will be presented at the annual conference of the Infectious Disease Society of America in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 27, 2016.

Matt Cogar proved he’s one of the best lumberjack athletes of all time. Cogar won the 2018 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® U.S. Pro Championship in front of thousands of raucous Wisconsin fans and became the only American athlete to ever win six straight U.S. titles. His victory also gives him the honor of representing the U.S. at the 2018 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Individual World Championship in October in Liverpool, England.
This year STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® made history by having the American women compete on the same stage as the men. Erin LaVoie outlasted an incredibly talented field of female athletes to win the Women’s Division Championship. This was the second year of the Women’s Division.

Everyone loses hair, every single day. We see strands everywhere – the shower, in the brush, on our pillows. Thinning in women usually means a reduction in volume as well as less physical hairs on our head. As strands diminish in number, there is a lack of density.
The American Hair Loss Association estimates that women make up roughly 40 percent of Americans experiencing thinning hair and the majority of women will experience some thinning by midlife – putting it right up with weight gain, dry skin and wrinkles.
It is completely natural for hair to thin over time. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, we normally shed about 100 hairs a day. So, while 85-to-95 percent of the hair on your head is growing, the other 5-to-15 percent is in a resting stage.
