Last weekend, OUE hosted the official grand opening of OUE Skyspace LA. Guests flocked from near and far to be among the first to experience the public debut of California’s tallest open-air observation deck and Skyslide with a slew of celebratory events throughout the weekend.
On Friday, June 24, the ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted local and international VIPs as OUE Skyspace LA opened its doors for the very first time. Speakers included Dr. Stephen Riady, Executive Chairman of OUE and Raymond Chan, Interim Deputy Mayor for Economic Development. As anticipation builds for the December release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the first new film in the Star Wars Saga in a decade, The Walt Disney Studios, Lucasfilm Ltd., and 20th Century Fox today announced the upcoming release of The Star Wars Digital Movie Collection. For the first time ever, all six epic films in the Saga, from The Phantom Menace to Return of the Jedi, will be available on Digital HD throughout the galaxy – or at least here on Earth – globally beginning Friday, April 10.

It’s said that the Ford Mustang has starred in more movies than any other car. Now GTB – Ford’s creative agency – have created a real on-screen first for the legendary marque. To celebrate the iconic driving film C’etait un rendez-vous, GTB worked with Claude Lelouch to recreate his iconic original film, in 360 VR.
Lelouch said of the remake: ‘C’etait un rendez-vous was a first in 1976, nobody had ever filmed an urban drive like it. So I was thrilled by the prospect of recreating this high-octane short using the very latest technology: making it even more immersive.’
Says Chief Creative Julian Watt, “The original 1976 movie captured an audacious eight-minute drive through Paris in the early hours of the morning. It was thrilling and ground breaking. Our idea was to maintain that essential experience, but bring the cinematic thrill of VR and the driving experience of Ford Mustang.”
