LOOP!STATION was formed in July 2002 by Sam Bass and Robin Coomer almost by accident. Robin asked Sam if he would come and play some cello at her upcoming photography show. He convinced Robin to join him and his new favorite tool the loop station. After going to the music store and getting her own, they only had two rehearsals before the opening thinking they would only play one show. But after an overwhelming crowd response and sixty five new emails on a list, they decided to play again, and again... Their first c.d. 'conversations with water' was released in July 2003 with amazing response. Suddenly what had started out as an escape for these two classically trained musicians from their respective rock bands, (Deadweight and Birdsaw) and the pressures of writing the 'perfect' 3:30 second pop song, had turned into an escape for their listeners as well. The Volkswagen Junior Masters is a global football development tournament that culminates in May when teams from twenty countries will participate in the world finals, to be held at the famed Bernabeaú Stadium in Madrid, Spain. On Saturday, May 22, the Upper Deck Company sent a crew to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to orchestrate three very important components at this year's NFL PLAYERS Rookie Premiere Photo Shoot. First, they had to photograph each of the top college draft picks sporting their collegiate jerseys for upcoming football products licensed by NFL PLAYERS and the Collegiate Licensing Company. Next, they had to collect thousands of hard-signed autographs from the 35 participating players to be used as insert cards in the Upper Deck sets. Lastly, they taped the players answering questions about their collegiate careers and then asked their opinions on where LeBron James – one of Upper Deck's exclusive spokesmen who's considered the most sought-after free agent in the world – might be playing basketball next season.

CEO confidence was up slightly in the third quarter, noting a slowing economic growth pace, but no evidence of a double dip recession, according to the Vistage CEO Confidence Index 3rd quarter results. Despite widespread recognition of the recent economic slowdown, CEOs were more confident in their firm’s ability to increase their revenues and profits in the year ahead. Yet, virtually every CEO (92%) expects rising employee health care costs, and 57% of all CEOs expect those cost increases to be more than 10%. Two-thirds of all CEOs said that without the extension of the Bush tax cuts their businesses would be harmed, and nearly half (46%) reported continued unfavorable credit market conditions. In response to a question about the upcoming elections, 62% of CEOs believe the Republicans will control the U.S. House of Representatives in January 2011.
