General Mills (NYSE: GIS) today launched the General Mills Feeding Better Futures Scholars Program, which asks youth to share their ideas to help solve the challenge of feeding a growing world population. Feeding Better Futures will serve as a catalyst in addressing hunger relief and sustainable agriculture issues by championing the bright ideas of today’s youth. Young innovators are invited to pitch their in-action solutions for the opportunity to present at the Aspen Ideas Festival, be partnered with industry mentors, and earn up to $50,000 to further their program and education.

By 2050, it is projected there will be 9.2 billion people on the planet and recent estimates suggest food production will need to increase by 70 percent to feed everyone. A group of four minivans recently tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety for protection in small overlap front crashes shows some of the worst possible outcomes for this type of crash, with only one vehicle performing acceptably.
The Nissan Quest, the Chrysler Town & Country and its twin, the Dodge Grand Caravan, all earn poor ratings. The exception to the disappointing pattern is the 2015 Toyota Sienna, which earns an acceptable rating. It joins the Honda Odyssey, which last year earned a good rating in the test, in the ranks of TOP SAFETY PICK+ winners.

For every specially-marked bottle of French’s Mustard sold between April 18 and November 30, and specially-marked bottles of French’s Ketchup sold between April 18 and December 31, one meal* will be donated to the Feeding America nationwide network of 200 food banks.
More than 48 million people in America struggle with food insecurity, including 15 million children – at a life stage when food is critical to healthy growth and development. Food insecurity is defined as a lack of access, at times, to enough food for an active, healthy life, according to the USDA. It is an issue that affects every single county in our country.

Three more midsize SUVs achieved good or acceptable ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety in the latest round of small overlap front crash testing, but many models, including three newly rated SUVs from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and one from Hyundai, continue to struggle with the test.
According to recent survey by Medicomp Systems, 43 percent of healthcare IT professionals and physicians cited that their top data-related challenge was not a lack of data but rather the struggle to access the right data at the right time.
