Stiefel, a GSK company, announced today that Hats On For Skin Health, its global campaign with the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), has raised enough funds to produce 15,000 sun-protective hats for albinos living in East Africa and has already distributed more than 2,000 hats. The hats are being distributed from Tanzania, where estimates are that 98 percent of albino children will die before the age of 40 from cancers of the skin – a direct result of the sun’s damaging rays. Worldwide, albinism affects about one in 20,000 people. However the incidence of albinism in Sub-Saharan Africa is significantly higher than in the rest of the world, specifically in Tanzania where the incidence is one in 1,429. Whether from a supermarket, farm stand, or your own garden, fresh fruits and vegetables are highlights of summertime. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration reminds you that foodborne bacteria multiply faster in warm weather – and what’s more, safe handling of produce and fresh-squeezed juice is especially important because these foods are often consumed raw. Keep foods safe this summer by practicing the Four Steps to Food Safety: clean hands and surfaces often; separate raw meats from other foods; cook to the right temperatures; and chill foods promptly. And with delicious, nutritious produce and fresh-squeezed juices, follow these additional tips to prevent food poisoning. Music composed by Rokilis, Video made by Rokilis. This musical project was a little rushed, I decided to include footage of myself training which contains old footage also. It was interesting trying to produce music again and working on my video production skills. Overall it was a good effort. *Vocal audio towards the end may not be heard on some systems* (NOTE: some of the training methods used were all done in experimentation over the years, so I decided to include some of the things I have done whether effective or not)
