Esurance, the direct-to-consumer personal car insurance company, today announced that the company donated $50,000 to The Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.
Esurance recently launched the charitable giving campaign on its Facebook page. For each new “Like,” the company donated $10 to The Trevor Project to help support the Trevor Lifeline, a 24/7 crisis intervention phone hotline offering free and confidential suicide prevention counseling to youth nationwide.

Hong Kong Gay and Lesbian Film Festival Fund Raiser 2008 was held on 28 October. This was a great night to show your support for one of the best organisations in Hong Kong -- the Gay and Lesbian Film Festival returns in November 2008.
In support of the It Gets Better Project and the worldwide movement that has been created to support GLBT youth, PwC US has launched a video of gay and lesbian staff sharing their challenges growing up gay and describing how they found acceptance, support and happiness as adults. Over 10,000 individuals and organizations have contributed videos to this effort to combat bullying of GLBT youth.

Tonight, The Trevor Project’s new life-saving, life-affirming public service announcement (PSA) featuring Daniel Radcliffe premiered on FOX during the network’s hit series “Glee.” The 30-second spot, which aired at no cost to the organization, empowers young people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or questioning (LGBTQ) to call the Trevor Lifeline if they need support or are considering suicide. The spot will also run on Hulu in conjunction with this episode of “Glee.”
