Jumping the gap and landing in London, the winner of the 4th prestigious Roca Jump the Gap competition will be announced on Thursday 3rd November at the recently opened Roca London Gallery, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.
This competition has once again captivated the hearts minds of young designers across the world and has had an all time record entry. The top design talent of tomorrow has been battling it out for the title of bathroom innovator of the year and of course the 5,000 euro prize money.

Big efforts bring great results. Ron Arad and Javier Mariscal invited the winner of the 4th Edition of the international competition, Jump the Gap, Michael Warykiewicz, to join them in the mad Gala Ceremony created by Roca for the Award Ceremony, which brought together VIP's from the media and the design and architecture world. Despite a sluggish economy and low inflation, the 2010 PNC Christmas Price Index® surged 9.2 percent in the whimsical economic analysis by PNC Wealth Management based on the gifts in the holiday classic, “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”
According to the 27th annual survey, the price tag for the PNC CPI is $23,439 in 2010, $1,974 more than last year. This is the second highest jump ever and largest percentage increase since 2003 when the index rose 16 percent. That comes on the heels of a modest 1.8 percent increase a year ago.
