In an effort to learn more about driver
inattention, one of the biggest killers on WA roads, RAC created the
world's first Attention Powered Car -- a car that goes when you're
paying attention and slows when you're not. On the final
leg of our road trip, we visited Narrogin in the Wheatbelt, which is
also often dubbed by emergency services as the 'accident belt'. Here,
single vehicle crashes with young drivers behind the wheel are
particularly high, so we wanted to see if inattention was part of the
problem. Our first driver, Shawn, took the Attention
Powered Car and few mates around town. Not surprisingly, his mates
proved to be a distraction, as well as thinking about his girlfriend
and sadly, friends lost on the road. Next up was Speedway Driver Coby.
She performed well on the open road, but had plenty inattention moments
to match. Perhaps most telling though, was her insight into the minds
of many drivers who even after being made aware of their limitations,
aren't likely to change behaviour. Check out the video to

Tupac died when he was only 25 years old.
He was well on his way to becoming one of the great leaders and icons
of the next generation. I hope this song brings you back to when the
whole east coast was fueding with the west coast and how crazy the game
got. Tragically, that era will always be remembered by the murder of
2Pac and Biggie and not just the amazing music. This song is a
blatant borrowing of a very early Bob Dylan song called Davey Moore. I
added some words and switched some around in order to speak to the
mysterious murder of one of Hip-Hop's greatest: Tupac Shakur. It would have been great to see what young Tupac became when he grew older. May his memory be a blessing.

Snacks, the proverbial middle child of the food world, are finally getting the recognition they deserve. Last night, TV host Andy Cohen, a foodie in his own right, joined fellow food aficionados to launch Snack Week, a week-long celebration of snacking and the launch pad for the new Hillshire® Snacking brand of premium snacks.
Snack Week kicked off with a VIP launch event, co-hosted by Cohen and other culinary experts, including Chef Dale Talde of “Talde” restaurants, New York mixologist Julie Reiner and two top food bloggers. The event united the experts to help launch the Hillshire® Snacking brand and highlighted curated pairings and snack ideas using the products, all coming to life in a series of videos to be released during Snack Week.
“Being a foodie and living in a city with an amazing food culture has elevated my snacking game,” said Cohen. “I’ve spent enough time around food and the culinary world to know when I spot a trend. The Hillshire® Snacking brand is a game-changer,” Cohen said.

SC Johnson, the world’s leading manufacturer of pest control products, is using its 60 years of insect expertise to educate consumers as the Zika virus continues to spread. Things defying gravity and floating away into the sky, people flying and unimaginable objects gliding around have all fascinated us forever. Our television and films have routinely offered us computer-generated treats that seem astonishingly real. While theatre and Live entertainment slowly regains our attention, There is a need to have this same magic of flight recreated on stage. Live. There’s a need to have dancers perform in thin air, of cars ‘driving’ up the sides of buildings, of a superstar ‘flying’ onto the stage in front of our very eyes. For two decades, Chateau Ste. Michelle’s Artist Series wines have celebrated the inspired collaboration between artisan winemaking and fine art. To commemorate the 20th vintage, Chateau Ste. Michelle is partnering with Dale Chihuly, the first artist to present artwork on the Artist Series label with the 1993 vintage. The 2012 Artist Series featuring Chihuly will release nationally in August with a suggested retail price of $65.
The Artist Series red blend is a unique, collector’s wine that represents the highest quality and pedigree from Chateau Ste. Michelle. Each Artist Series vintage features the work of renowned artists on the label, from blown glass to bronze sculptures to paint on canvas.
“I’m honored to have my artwork on the 20th vintage Artist Series label,” says Chihuly. “This piece is one-of-a-kind and very special to me. I couldn’t think of a better use than portraying it on this significant wine project.”
For the 20th vintage label, Chihuly selected his Cast Silver Venetian. This unique sculpture was created by Chihuly, and then cast in sterling silver at the Walla Walla Foundry in Washington State. Inspired by Italian Art Deco, Chihuly started his Venetian series in 1988 with Italian glassblower Lino Tagliapietra. Chihuly is known for his artwork and ambitious architectural installations around the world in museums, historic cities and gardens.
