Chuck E. himself is kicking off a nationwide honorary Big program by becoming a Big for a day to a Little in Dallas. Throughout the month, all Chuck E. Cheese’s locations will also offer guests opportunities to support Big Brothers Big Sisters by donating at the register or participating in a National Night Out event on April 14.
Starting in Dallas, Big Brothers Big Sisters will match Chuck E. with a deserving Little for a surprise visit to his or her school, followed by an after school play date during Chuck E. Cheese’s National Night Out event on April 14 from 5 p.m.–9 p.m. National Night Out is a nationwide event in which a portion of the proceeds from all who attend will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Uber-cool Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer will mark the start of the world’s first electric car race season on 31st August with a king-sized VIP party in Beijing, home of the new championship’s electrifying season opener.
The event officially inaugurates the pioneering Swiss brand’s latest adventure in motor-racing, which starts 13 September in Beijing, and closes 27 June, 2015 in London. TAG Heuer is the Official Watch, Partner and Timekeeper of the FIA Formula E Championship for all ten events, a role it has played several times over the decades, for major motor-racing series and circuit around the world, from Formula One in the 1970s to Indy 500 in 20XX and the Monaco Grand Prix today.

‘SO-UK: Centrepoint Sessions’ is a sublime evening of UK Soul starring much loved artists from the UK soul movement: Carl McIntosh and the Loose Ends Experience, Omar, Junior, Imaani, Terri Walker, Don-e, Natasha Watts, Maya Blu, Femi Fem, Ronnie Herel, Fitzroy Facey (Soul Survivors), Sammy Confunktion – all keeping the vibe alive till the early hours. Wer seinen Kompaktwagen demnächst auf fabrikneue Sommerreifen umrüstet, kann sich ruhigen Gewissens auch für eine etwas größere Dimension entscheiden. Das gilt jedenfalls für die elf handelsüblichen Sommerreifen der Größe 225/45 R 17, die die GTÜ Gesellschaft für Technische Überwachung im Fahrbetrieb praktisch getestet hat. Diese Reifen sind ohne Ausnahme unterm Strich entweder empfehlenswert (7) oder sehr empfehlenswert (4). Dabei begutachteten die GTÜ-Experten gemeinsam mit den Testern des ACE Auto Club Europa die Reifeneigenschaften auf dem Gebiet Sicherheit etwa bei nasser und trockener Fahrbahn sowie in den Bereichen Umwelt und Wirtschaftlichkeit. Dabei überzeugten die Breitreifen fast durch die Bank mit hohen Sicherheitsreserven selbst auf nasser Straße. Bewertet wurden die Fabrikate in insgesamt zwölf einzelnen Kategorien. Aus der Prüfung von GTÜ und ACE ging der Conti SportContact 5 mit 143 von 190 erreichbaren Punkten als Testsieger hervor. Der Preis für einen Vierer-Satz dieser Reifen ist mit einem vom Bundesverband Reifenhandel ermittelten Durchschnittspreis von 556 Euro von allen getesteten Mitbewerbern allerdings auch am höchsten (siehe Ergebnistabelle). Vom Einkaufspreis her betrachtet am günstigsten ist der Apollo Aspire 4GXL (119 von 190 Punkten/empfehlenswert), bei dem der Reifensatz lediglich um die 400 Euro kostet.
In der nunmehr vierten Generation der sportlichen Mittelklasse-Coupé-Baureihe verkörpert das neue BMW 4er Coupé den Inbegriff von Ästhetik und Dynamik im Premium-Segment. Die Formensprache verheißt kraftvolle Präsenz auf der Straße, überragende Dynamik und Fahrvergnügen. Die „4“ im Typenschild steht für die neue Ära des Coupés und unterstreicht nicht nur das eigenständige Design, sondern gleichermaßen eine noch stärkere technische Differenzierung zur BMW 3er Reihe, die auch durch neue Premium Features wie den optionalen Voll LED Scheinwerfer belegt wird. Das neue BMW 4er Coupé ist gegenüber dem BMW 3er Coupé in Breite und Radstand sichtbar gewachsen, wobei die sportlich gestreckte Coupé-Silhouette deutlich flacher verläuft. Zusammen mit den markentypischen kurzen Überhängen, der langen Motorhaube und der zurückgesetzten Fahrgastzelle mit fließendem Dachverlauf präsentiert sich das BMW 4er Coupé in perfekter Balance. Das markante Gesicht mit charakteristischen BMW Designmerkmalen, wie Doppelniere, Doppelrundscheinwerfer sowie großem Lufteinlass in der Frontschürze, zeigt bewusst die Verwandtschaft zur BMW 3er Familie; unterstreicht aber in seiner sportlicheren Interpretation die dynamische Ausrichtung des BMW 4er Coupé. Als neue Elemente weist das BMW 4er Coupé hinter den vorderen Radläufen sogenannte Air Breather auf, die den Luftwiderstand im Bereich der Radhäuser reduzieren. In der flach gestalteten Heckansicht mit betont horizontaler Linienführung kommen die muskulösen Radhäuser und die breite Spur besonders gut zur Geltung.
