As the official Champagne sponsor for The Screen Actors Guild Awards since 2001, Champagne Taittinger, continued its long-time partnership on Sunday, January 27th, 2019. Global Ambassador and Artistic Director Vitalie Taittinger officiated the opening of the star-studded show, which celebrated a milestone 25th anniversary this year with a silver carpet in lieu of the traditional red. Taittinger was joined by actor Jon Huertas, known for his role on ABC’s award-winning show This is Us at the top of the carpet for a toast of Champagne Taittinger’s acclaimed Brut La Française NV to kick off the show at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Prior to the show, Vitalie Taittinger commented: “We are extremely honored to be a long-standing partner of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and all of the good work that they do. This year, our family was excited to present two 15-liter bottles (also known as a Nebuchadnezzar) to be auctioned by SAG-AFTRA to raise additional funds for their work. Our entire team signed one of the bottles and they were all very happy to participate! The other will be offered for each of the actors attending the show to sign.” She continued, “We hope this special touch will help raise more funds than ever for this year!”

TELEMUNDO has gathered six of the most popular TV personalities in Spanish language television to share hosting duties at the 2016 edition of “Premios Tu Mundo” (Your World Awards) to be broadcast live on Thursday, August 25th, at 8PM/7c from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The official hosts of this year’s award show include: Rafael Amaya and Fernanda Castillo from the ratings topping Super Series “El Señor de los Cielos,” Carlos Ponce and Maritza Rodriguez from the current romantic comedy “Silvana Sin Lana,” and David Chocarro and Aracely Arambula from the upcoming production “La Doña.” The highly anticipated awards event, which is produced by TELEMUNDO and Adventure Productions, will be preceded by the now traditional blue carpet special “La Alfombra de Premios Tu Mundo” at 7PM/6c. The blue carpet special will be hosted by Rashel Diaz, Jorge Bernal and Jessica Carrillo, with special participation from fashion specialist Quique Usales. After the award show, the night will culminate at 11:35PM/10:35c with “Premios Tu Mundo Acceso VIP,” a behind-the-scenes special hosted by Jessica Carrillo and Karim Mendiburu, with fashion by Quique Usales and social reporter Erika Csiszer.

NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises today announced the launch of “El Poder En Ti,” the company’s robust community initiative aimed at empowering viewers to take action for a better life in areas of key importance to U.S. Hispanics: education (Tu Educación), health (Tu Salud), finance (Tu Dinero) and civic engagement (#YoDecido). Cesar Conde, Chairman of NBCUniversal International Group and NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, together with key partners and Telemundo talent, will unveil the new campaign at a special star-studded cocktail reception in Miami, Florida.
The multi-platform initiative, “El Poder En Ti,” focuses on the power of self-conviction, empowerment and knowledge, supported by a specialized website, digital tools and resources. Life-changing and inspirational stories are brought to life by a series of public service announcements starring various Telemundo talent, including international Spanish-language television icon, Don Francisco as the narrative voice of the campaign. The PSA’s will air across the Telemundo network, its stations and NBC UNIVERSO, as well as other NBC cable properties.
