Building on the success of the recently opened Solon Market District, Giant Eagle, Inc. introduces a whole new world of food to the Akron-Canton area with the opening of the new Green Market District located at 1700 Corporate Woods Parkway.
Food Network Star, world-renowned chef and author Tyler Florence will participate in the store’s grand opening celebration, greeting customers and signing autographs. Florence joins the long list of the world’s most prominent chefs who have been wowed by the Market District experience. Und Anfang nächsten Jahres folgen der Audi A3 Sportback e-tron als Plug-in Hybrid und der Golf als reines Elektrofahrzeug, von dem es in 2014 zusätzlich ebenfalls eine Plug-in-Variante geben wird. Weitere Modelle werden folgen, um in jedem Segment einen Stromer oder einen Plug-in Hybrid anbieten zu können und das selbst gesteckte Ziel zu erreichen, bis 2018 der weltweit ökologisch führende Autokonzern zu sein. Dabei bleibt man im VW-Konzern realistisch. Trotz des Volks-Elektroautos e-up! werde der Anteil der reinen Stromer vorerst begrenzt sein. Bis 2018 hofft man aber auf einen Absatz von 300.000 Fahrzeugen mit Ladestecker.
