The key to this technology is the ability of the FLEXVOLT™ battery to switch between DEWALT tools of varying voltages (20V MAX*, 60V MAX* and 120V MAX*). The FLEXVOLT™ battery automatically changes voltage depending on whether it’s being used in a 20V MAX* or 60V MAX* tool. Two FLEXVOLT™ batteries together power the new DEWALT 120V MAX* tools. This means that high power tool applications that previously could only be accomplished by corded tools, can now be performed with the DEWALT FLEXVOLT™ system of cordless tools. As a result of this advanced battery technology, jobsites can now fully transition from corded to the freedom of cordless.

U-Haul, the industry leader in do-it-yourself moving and self-storage, has teamed with a beloved Motor City charity to help previously homeless families transition from shelters into clean, dignified and welcoming homes. Humble Design Fueled by U-Haul, as it is now termed, was born seven years ago out of the idea that decent families emerging from homelessness in Metro Detroit deserve to come home to basic necessities like tables to eat at, sofas to sit on and beds to sleep in each night. Co-founder Treger Strasberg’s organization has assisted more than 660 families so far. With the support of U-Haul, that number will swell exponentially while expanding this noble pursuit to additional cities.
“The expertise, resources, national reach and community commitment of U-Haul make it a tremendous partner for Humble Design to take our mission nationwide to alleviate homelessness,” Strasberg said. “Working together, U-Haul and Humble Design will engage communities to serve families in need by turning houses into homes across the country.”

International Connections Academy, an accredited online private school for students in grades K-12, is making it easier for families moving or currently living abroad to transition their children to school anywhere in the world through its new online education resource for expat families.
International Connections Academy currently serves students in more than 40 countries across the globe – with the number of expat families it serves growing each semester. The school’s 2016 Parent Satisfaction Survey recently revealed that 80 percent of currently enrolled families living abroad moved for business purposes, with two-thirds planning on living in their new country for at least four years.
