Superman has arrived in time to put his iconic stamp on an exciting new thrill ride in Northern California.
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC Entertainment, today launched SUPERMAN Ultimate Flight, featuring the tallest inversion west of the Mississippi. At 15-stories tall, this one-of-a-kind roller coaster takes riders on a maximum speed of 62 mph over two vertical rolls and two upside-down twists.

Towering at a world-record 400 feet, LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom was introduced at Six Flags Magic Mountain today. Attached to both sides of the iconic SUPERMAN: Escape from Krypton tower, LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom, is considered an engineering phenomenon, dropping fearless riders in floorless gondolas at speeds up to 85 miles-per-hour in five seconds.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor marks the official first day of summer by celebrating the grand opening of its newest slide complex, Big Wave Racer, in support of New Jersey’s “Stronger Than the Storm” campaign. Six Flags Over Georgia prepares to take to the sky as the countdown begins for the launch of the park’s newest thrill ride, SkyScreamer. The park’s newest addition was previewed today by media and VIP guests. SkyScreamer opens to the public on Friday, May 24, 2013.
At 242 feet, SkyScreamer is 40 feet taller than the park’s mega-coaster Goliath, and will give passengers a thrilling view of the Atlanta skyline. Thirty- two riders will sit two across in open air swings while spinning to the top of the tower. At full swing, guests revolve in a 98-foot circle at speeds of 40 mph.
