Pampers, the iconic and first baby care brand to distribute disposable diapers around the globe, is turning 50! Pampers honors these 50 years of parenting by unveiling its Little Miracle Missions program, which seeks to celebrate, support and protect babies everywhere through acts of kindness to little miracles (babies) and their families, while encouraging parents to “pay it forward” and support others. On Monday, Pampers and Graham’s Foundation (an organization that provides care packages that offer both practical and emotional support for the parents of micro-preemies) began donating more than 30,000 care packages to families with babies in level-three Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) across the country, for the care of premature or ill newborn babies. Yesterday, Pampers continued the celebration by partnering with a variety of celebrity parents who have their own personal miracle stories. Honda will launch the new Civic at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show in September. In the build-up to the reveal of the new Civic, Honda is releasing a series of short form films detailing its development. Developed specifically for the European market, the new Civic will be offered exclusively as a five-door hatchback and will compete in the C-segment. It will reach European showrooms in early 2012.

The DRIVE4COPD national public health initiative today announced that it is partnering with the Country Music Association (CMA) to launch the Tune Up For COPD Songwriting Competition, featuring country music stars Billy Ray Cyrus and Patty Loveless. The competition challenges Americans to create a new DRIVE4COPD song to help raise awareness of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Last year, Loveless wrote the campaign anthem, 'Drive,' in honor of her sister Dottie, who died of COPD when she was only 48 years old.
