Die Techno Classica in Essen einen Mix aus Nostalgie und Aktualität. Auch bei der 25. Auflage wird sie wieder zur weltgrößten Historik-Schau der deutschen wie auch der internationalen Automobilhersteller und kann sogar einen Markenrekord vermelden - mit 25 Fahrzeugmarken präsentieren sich so viele wie nie zuvor. Dabei geht es nicht nur darum, das Publikum zu unterhalten und geschichtliches Wissen zu vermitteln. Im Vordergrund steht auch die glaubwürdige Darstellung der Markenwerte, bei der Tradition und Firmenhistorie eine immens wichtige Rolle spielen. So zeigen viele Hersteller ganze Ahnenreihen und stellen aktuelle Modelle historischen Fahrzeugen gegenüber. 

The CeBIT show is receiving some high-ranking visitors. Among them is German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has taken a tour of fair’s top digital innovations from around the world. Dr. Merkel made time to talk to the exhibitors and learn about their new technologies.

The official opening of CeBIT 2016 was attended by many VIPs. Among them were German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel and EU Digital Economy Commissioner Günther Oettinger. Proof that CeBIT is a key platform for high-level political dialogue.

Messe Frankfurt looks back on a 45-year-long tradition of success in the automotive industry and takes this opportunity to thank its long-term and loyal exhibitors. The high-quality calendar was presented at the ‘We say THANKS’ ceremony in the Klassikstadt Frankfurt, to which Messe Frankfurt issued an invitation. Automechanika is certainly the most exciting success story in 45 years. The story began in 1971 with the first Automechanika in Frankfurt, which was christened when the IAA was cancelled. In subsequent years, the trade fair has made outstanding progress, advancing to the world’s leading trade fair, which is now held in fifteen locations worldwide. In the meantime, Messe Frankfurt is also organising a series of new B2B trade fairs for trucking and logistics and B2C events for automobiles, bikes, and boats.
