Two new fragrances, MMM, Bacon! and Movie Night™, join Man Town™, First Down™ and Riding Mower™. The collection, launched last year to tremendous response, was created uniquely for men to be enjoyed in their “man town,” whether that is the den, the basement or even the garage. These limited edition fragrances will be available for purchase starting in May at more than 557 Yankee Candle retail stores, www.yankeecandle.com and select specialty retailers and gift shops. To celebrate the arrival of the collection, Yankee Candle is simultaneously launching a series of social media contests, offering consumers the chance to win samples of the Man Candles II collection. Global gold demand in Q3 2012 was 1,084.6 tonnes (t), down 11% from the record Q3 2011 figure of 1,223.5t. This dip in demand is in comparison with exceptional demand in Q3 last year. Gold demand remains resilient. Q3 2012 was above the five year quarterly average of 984.7t, according to the World Gold Council’s Gold Demand Trends Report.
In value terms gold demand was 14.0% lower year on year at $57.6bn and the average gold price of $1,652/oz was down 3% on the record average Q3 2011 price.

Santa isn’t just sliding down the chimney this year! To bridge the gap between Easter and Christmas, 20 PEEPS® Santas hopped through New York City spreading cheer and sweetness. The journey of the Santas culminated with a choreographed dance to the tune of the “Bunny Hop” and the distribution of samples of candy-cane-inspired PEEPS® Candy Cane marshmallow treats.
The hopping Santas began at Rockefeller Plaza and hopped about the city, stopping at Times Square, and outside Radio City Music Hall, finally gathering for a special event that had spectators jumping with joy.
