For two decades, Chateau Ste. Michelle’s Artist Series wines have celebrated the inspired collaboration between artisan winemaking and fine art. To commemorate the 20th vintage, Chateau Ste. Michelle is partnering with Dale Chihuly, the first artist to present artwork on the Artist Series label with the 1993 vintage. The 2012 Artist Series featuring Chihuly will release nationally in August with a suggested retail price of $65.
The Artist Series red blend is a unique, collector’s wine that represents the highest quality and pedigree from Chateau Ste. Michelle. Each Artist Series vintage features the work of renowned artists on the label, from blown glass to bronze sculptures to paint on canvas.
“I’m honored to have my artwork on the 20th vintage Artist Series label,” says Chihuly. “This piece is one-of-a-kind and very special to me. I couldn’t think of a better use than portraying it on this significant wine project.”
For the 20th vintage label, Chihuly selected his Cast Silver Venetian. This unique sculpture was created by Chihuly, and then cast in sterling silver at the Walla Walla Foundry in Washington State. Inspired by Italian Art Deco, Chihuly started his Venetian series in 1988 with Italian glassblower Lino Tagliapietra. Chihuly is known for his artwork and ambitious architectural installations around the world in museums, historic cities and gardens.

For Spring-Summer 2016, Maison Roger Vivier has entrusted one of its icons line to celebrity Stylist Camille Seydoux: Prismick. A friend of the house, this young woman has dreamed up a version all of her own: a capsule collection entirely in denim.
Six pieces make up this perfect wardrobe: platform sandals, ankle boots, a shoulder bag, a bucket bag, a backpack and a sneaker. Camille melds her creativity with the Roger Vivier legacy. She says:
"We decided that my collection would be dedicated to the Prismick line created in 2012, which is one of my favourites. I began by attentively exploring my own Prismick bag, which is in a melting fade of black and grey. I wanted to work on the idea of facets that make up grades of shading. I looked through the Maison's archives and then I thought of denim. It's a fabric that naturally burnishes. Denim is both classic and modern, and significant detail, is very resistant."
Camille grew up in fashion's inner circle. She opened her own art gallery at the age of 25. Today, she is revolutionising the role of stylist by working hand-in-hand with couture house studios to design bespoke dresses for actresses. For Roger Vivier, she brought her own touch of impertinence: "Denim can be worn with everything and can tone down an outfit. This capsule collection shakes up the look. "

Well here's the scoop on this poop ...... My Windows crashed on my main PC and I had lost all of my studio programs a few months back ..... I was focused on creating more pop orientated songs such as what I've been doing for 2017 but all of my vocal songs are still missing vital audio pluggins to continue on with them ..... I've now upgraded from FL 7 to FL 10 and I've got my studio program back but I'll need to work with it more to create new vocal material .... In the meantime, I'm composing new Electronic music with my FL 10 and I have a couple of monster size Electronic tunes created from my FL 7 but I'm still shying away from making videos for them and uploading them to here ...... So what I have here is a project that I was working on with my 7 version but it's also lacking the pluggins for me to go the full route with it ...... What inspired me to do this was after watching Youtube videos of rock songs being spliced together, most likely by university students with an engineering degree and I figured that I could probably do a better job with my old school methods ..... perseverance and a good hammer and nail ..... What I'd like to add to this description was that 4 months back, I had made this comment to a fellow MUSICIAN ??? ...... Youtuber who had just put together a mashup that took him a whole 5 hours to create ...... "A world's record from what I've seen around here" ...... My comment to him pretty much describes what I have here .....

I'm doing the impossible right now of mashing up classic rock tunes with me accompanying them ..... I started off with Space Truckin .... The problem with this work is that they're not Electronic tunes and so they have no digital BPM .... I have to take my best guess as bands often speed up or slow down .... I added Smoke On The Water by speeding up the track and raising the pitch up 2 steps and then Strange Kind Of Woman which is in 3/4 timing and then Lazy over Space Trucking to Daft Punk's Robot Rock to Chicago's version of I'm A man to Alvin Lee's Going Home to Van Halen's I'm The One to the Stones Around and Around to Sympathy For The Devil mixed in with April Wine's Could Have Been A lady and now I'm gonna try to work in Aerosmith's guitar riff to Walk This Way to Could Have Been A lady ..... Boy ..... and people wonder why it takes me so long to upload a new song." ....... and his reply back was ......

The IV Eurasian Higher Education Leaders Forum (EHELF) took place at Nazarbayev University, Astana, Kazakhstan, June 10-12. Each year, more than 300 attendees, industry leaders, from different parts of the world participate in discussions and panel sessions at EHELF.

Nissan has created the world's biggest working Zorb, complete with a full-sized Note safely cushioned inside.
The giant inflatable ball, which measures six metres in diameter and more than 18 metres in circumference, was constructed to highlight Nissan's Safety Shield technology featured on the Nissan Note, its popular small family car.
Nicknamed the 'CarZorb', the colossal structure was successfully rolled down a course of steep hills in a two minute film released today.

Allstate Foundation Purple Purse® ambassador Kerry Washington unveiled her latest purse design to bring attention to domestic violence and financial abuse before an audience of community leaders, survivors and VIPs on Sept. 24 in New York City. One time Fatima (radiallahu anha) -- she went to complain to her husband Ali ibn Talib (radiallahu anhu) about how exhausting and tiring the housework has become on her. You know what, the family - Ali and Fatima (radiallahu anhuma) -- was a very poor family actually. Unlike many other homes, they had no money to afford to have a servant or a maid to help out in the housework. So Fatima (radiallahu anha) used to do everything. And you gotta appreciate that because there were no washing machines, no dishwashers, no vacuums, nothing! It was all physical work. So Ali ibn Talib (radiallahu anhu) hearing this, he says, 'Ya Fatima! How about you get a servant?'(Fatima says) 'How can I get a servant? We don't have money for this stuff?' He tells her, 'Ya Fatima! I have heard that your father Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) just recently received some prisoners of war. And why not you go and request from your father (Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) to give you one of those people to be a servant for us? Why not?' Fatima liked the idea. She never the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam had received such a group of prisoners of war, and she wants now to go to the house of R asulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and she heads there right away. She knocks on the door. Aisha (radiallahu anha), the wife of Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam opens the door and they greet each other and Fatima asks, 'Ya Aisha! Is my father there?' And Aisha says, 'No, he's not here.' Then Fatima basically wants to tell her exactly what her request is like and she tells her, 'You know what? I heard my father has received some prisoners of war and I was hoping I could get one [like] to be [like] a servant for our family. That'd be really nice.' So Aisha (radiallahu anha) says, 'You know what, the moment your father comes back I will surely let him know of what your need is.' Beautiful! Fatima goes back home. The Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam -- after some time -- comes back to his house. And Aisha tells him exactly why Fatima came and the request, 'you know what, she's looking for a servant to help her out with all the housework.' Rasulullah says, 'you know what, I'm going to go right now to the house of Ali.' Allahu Akbar! Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam heads to the house of Ali ibn Talib (radiallahu anhu). As he gets there, Ali and Fatima -- they would like to stand up and greet the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. But the Prophet says, 'Ala makaa nikum."He says, ' Ala makaa nikum -- Stay the way you are. Stay in your bed, no need to stand up. Just relax.' And the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam -- Allahu Akbar! -- He comes and he sits on their bed in between Fatima and Ali (radiallahu anhuma). And he tells them... "Hal adullukuma 'ala khayrim mimma sa altuma -- shall I not guide you of something that is better and more beneficial to both of you than whatever you have requested (i.e. having a servant)? Whenever you're about to go to sleep -- itha awaytuma firaashikuma -- you shall say fasbbiha thalaatha wa thalaatheen (say Subhanallah thirty three times) wahmadaa thalaatha wa thalatheen (say Alhamdulillah thirty three times) wa kabbirah arba'un wa thalatheen (and say Allahu Akbar thirty four times). Haatha khayrullakum min khadim -- Allahu Akbar! -- This is better for you than having a servant!'
