In NSW, lane filtering became legal as of the 1st July 2014. In heavy traffic on multi-lane roads, riders often filter between the lanes. It can be an efficient way to road your motorcycle when done correctly.
1. When you are lane-filtering look out for drivers on both sides.
2. Watch for body language as an indication that they are about to change lanes.
3. Get your speed right. While it may be legal to travel at 30km an hour, it may not be safe to do so.
4. Never ride to the left of a vehicle; it puts you at risk of a collision with a vehicle entering a driveway.
5. Be aware of circumstances where it is still illegal to filter lanes, this includes active school zones.

Dollar Car Rental, the leading family brand in the car rental industry, is rolling out an industry-leading debit card policy making it easier than ever to reserve a car using a debit card. The policy will eliminate credit checks, reduce proof of return travel and ID requirements, while also lowering the renter age restriction from 25 to 20 years old.

This book is the story about a young boy who believed he was in that category while growing up. That little boy changed those odds and ultimately did many things that most people cannot even dream of. Dick was expected to work twelve- to fourteen-hour days every day until he left home to join the air force when he was seventeen years old. By the grace of God, Dick somehow graduated from high school since he never once, in twelve years, ever had any time to do homework. Dick’s very best childhood friend was his Dog King who is on the cover of this Book. Without King, Dick’s childhood would have been very, very difficult, for they were always together. Life was about to change dramatically when Dick joined the air force when he was seventeen years old. The title of the book, “Destiny,” is very appropriate since it was at that time when destiny played a major role in Dick’s life. Dick should have never passed his induction physical due to an unknown severe bundle branch blockage in his heart, but he did; he should have never been accepted in the Air Force’s air weather school, but he was, graduating forty-third out of a class total of 187. A change is coming to the checkout. This fall national retailers are turning on newly installed payment terminals aimed at better protecting consumers from cybercrime and credit card fraud. These machines are designed to accept new, more secure credit cards, commonly referred to as “chip” cards. These new credit cards will contain an embedded microchip that cannot be replicated, making it more difficult for hackers to use stolen card numbers to produce fraudulent credit cards.
Retailers are spending billions of dollars putting in place new payment terminals that are certified for chip card acceptance. This will ensure they are not held liable for counterfeit fraud usage when new cards make their way to the marketplace, and will ensure a more secure transaction for consumers compared to current technology.

The creative collaboration between Swedish artist/producer Avicii and Volvo Cars for their new brand campaign features a reworking of the classic song Feeling Good. Filmed on location in Stockholm and Osterlen, southern Sweden, the video visits places of personal significance for Avicii and tells his own story of renewal, following several years of hard touring. The video also features members of his family and close friends.
“In the past six years I have been on a never-ending tour, apart for the last nine months during my time-out. I did around 325 shows in a year with traveling on top of that. It couldn’t continue. In the end I had to re-evaluate my situation and change my lifestyle. Sweden is an important place to me, it’s where I gather my strength and energy with family and friends. This whole process of re-evaluation and renewal is what Volvo encouraged me to visualise in the video. I think we did a great job together,” said Avicii.

AARP is announcing the winners of a unique contest that encourages filmmakers to tell the story of family caregiving through short films. The competition was launched as part of Ad Council and AARP’s National Caregiver Awareness Campaign to help reveal the hard work and dedication of the nation’s 40 million family caregivers. These stories focus on three family caregiving themes: The Changing Face of Caregiving, Roles Change, and Random Acts of Kindness for Caregivers. The winners share a $25,000 prize and the opportunity for their work to be featured on AARP and Ad Council web and social platforms.
“These three minute or shorter films really open up the world of family caregiving helping people to better understand the intense challenges as well as the deep personal rewards of caring for a loved one,” said Amy Goyer, AARP family and caregiving expert and author of the new award-winning book Juggling Life, Work, and Caregiving. “But more importantly, the stories show how much love is present in family caregiving, whether it comes from a family member, friend or even a stranger.”
