Millions of young people across the nation will become scientists for the day tomorrow, during the fifth annual 4-H National Youth Science Day (NYSD). This annual event seeks to spark an early youth interest in science education and future careers, and to reclaim the nation’s position of leadership in scientific exploration. As part of 4-H NYSD, youth will participate in the 4-H Eco-Bot Challenge: the 2012 National Science Experiment at hundreds of local events taking place in all 50 states. Pour leur nouvel album, le duo à atteint une étape plus mature dans sa démarche artistique et dans son écriture. Daniel et Éric ont découvert un son plus pop/dance et nous montrent leur coté rebel. Following another hugely successful year, Facilities Show will celebrate its 15th anniversary by relocating from the NEC Birmingham to ExCeL London in June 2014.
Facilities Show 2013 took place from 14 to 16 May and was a roaring success, welcoming 15,830 attendees (subject to ABC audit) through its doors, an increase of 17.25 percent on 2012, and a fifth consecutive year of double digit attendee growth. Takeda today announced the launch of a new expert Report on COPD, introduced at a Takeda organised press conference on the occasion of the 2012 European Respiratory Society (ERS) Annual Congress taking place from 1- 5 September in Vienna, Austria.
The Report, entitled ‘The Shifting Paradigm in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Management,’ was initiated and developed by Takeda Pharmaceuticals International GmbH and is a compilation of opinion articles from a panel of key international respiratory experts, the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients’ Association (EFA) and COPD patients, reflecting updated guidance and research. The new expert Report was developed in response to a recent shift in emphasis in COPD management which now places future risk at equal importance to treatment of current disability. Treatment objectives are now divided into two groups: reducing symptoms and reducing risk.
