Welcome to Mexico. We’re in the south central province of Puebla where the Mexican finals of the Volkswagen Junior Masters recently took place.
The Volkswagen Junior Masters is an under thirteen tournament in which the best teams from twenty countries will compete in the world finals in Madrid this May.
Puebla local, Alejandro Dresser was one of the young hopefuls who participated in Mexico’s final junior masters match-ups.
Two high school girls from Pennsylvania swept the top honors in the prestigious Young Epidemiology Scholars (YES) Competition (www.collegeboard.com/yes), the nation's leading public health research competition for high school students. Their research on rising consumption of energy drinks among adolescents and underdiagnosed migraines in teenage girls puts a spotlight on little recognized health threats to today's teen population. The two juniors, Shoshanna Goldin of Allentown and Gazelle Zerafati of Villanova, each received a $50,000 college scholarship, the top award in the YES Competition, which distributes nearly $500,000 annually to America's most promising young public health scholars.

The American leg of the Volkswagen Junior Masters resulted in a fiercely contested victory for the New Jersey based team, PDA Pele. Comprised of under-thirteens from a diverse array of cultural backgrounds, the young team is now busy preparing to represent America in world finals in May.

Theo also hosted the hit Fuse show Pants Off, Dance Off, and had television roles on Law And Order SVU, Third Watch and more. She also appeared on VH1\'s The Metal Years and My First Time. She also did motion capture for the new game by the makers of Guitar Hero called Rockband. Characters in the game are based on her movement! Theo is a budding business mogul, about to launch a new lip-gloss and make up line called Armour Beauty with partner Allison Burns. The line will launch in Jan 2008.
