Tonight, Celine Dion brought “The Power of Love” to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to resume her critically-acclaimed Las Vegas residency show, Celine. After a year hiatus, the stage came to life as Celine made her momentous return to a sold-out house and multiple standing ovations from thousands of fans.
Celine at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is a glamorous show directed by legendary Grammy Awards producer Ken Ehrlich and presented jointly by AEG Live and Caesars Entertainment. Celine’s updated Las Vegas show includes her biggest hits mixed with timeless hits by iconic artists that celebrate all generations and genres of music ranging from Frank Sinatra and Elvis to the Bee Gees, Queen and Prince. The show features a full orchestra and band and is set to a visually stunning presentation designed exclusively for the 4,300-seat state-of-the-art venue. Celine also returns to The Colosseum with a new stage wardrobe composed of exclusive designs developed by her stylist in collaboration with Atelier Versace, Schiaparelli, Elie Saab and Mugler.

Como preámbulo al estreno de la tan esperada serie “Celia”, TELEMUNDO transmitirá tres especiales dedicados a la “Reina de la Salsa”. El martes, 13 de octubre, a las 7pm/6c se emitirá “Celia por Siempre”, seguido por el estreno de “Celia” (8pm/7c), la serie dramática que narra la vida y el legado musical de una mujer que lanzó su carrera en medio de la revolución cubana, en una era en que las cantantes femeninas no podían ocupar un lugar en los escenarios. Adicionalmente, TELEMUNDO rendirá un homenaje a la legendaria cantante cubana, Celia Cruz, con un tributo musical durante los primeros “Latin American Music Awards” en vivo desde el Dolby Theater en Los Ángeles, este jueves, 8 de octubre a las 9pm/8c.
“Celia Cruz Azúcar” (10 de octubre, 8pm/7c), será una emisión especial de dos horas del concierto homenaje del 2003, conducido por la presentadora de Un Nuevo Día, Rashel Díaz. This initiative provides free consultations, medical treatment and sun education via mobile surgery clinics to the 40,000 indigenous people from the Archipelago of San Blas, a region with the highest incidence of albinism in the world. Albinos can face severe skin problems, such as skin cancer, caused by UV light and sun exposure due to the lack of melanin in their skin. The mobile surgery clinics are able to travel to the Archipelago of San Blas, a community that often shuns medical treatment and avoids protective measures against skin cancer.

When Daisy is called to a fire scene, she knows that work comes first and socializing with fire fighters comes second. It can be tough for her, especially when everyone tells her she is so beautiful and talented but thankfully her partner keeps her focused on her job. She is a fire investigator´s dream and an arsonist´s worst nightmare. Daisy is an accelerant detection canine and along with her partner, John Peters, work for the Westchester County Police Department in New York. Both were trained through the State Farm Arson Dog Program to locate trace amounts of ignitable liquids such as gasoline or kerosene that may have been used to start a fire. That is why Daisy and many other accelerant detection canine teams are being recognized during National Arson Awareness Week, May 3–9, 2015.
