New research by Johnson Controls, the global leader in delivering solutions that increase energy efficiency in buildings, shows energy efficiency interest rose 116 percent globally since 2010, with those who set goals making the greatest strides in reducing energy use. Shell today celebrated the official opening of the Quest carbon capture and storage (CCS) project in Alberta, Canada, and the start of commercial operations there. Quest is designed to capture and safely store more than one million tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) each year – equal to the emissions from about 250,000 cars. Quest was made possible through strong collaboration between the public and private sectors aimed at advancing CCS globally.

of the greatest things about my job is the people I get to meet. Before
we even launched Journey Instruments, I saw Maneli Jamal’s “Movement
III” from his Ziur album on Youtube and I was totally floored. I
immediately bought his album and then sought him out for private
lessons on Skype (And learned a bastardized version of his ”Most
Glorious Day” song from the same album. Ha!). Though I had to quit
lessons due to the demands of running two companies and having my
second child, I kept in touch and have just loved watching him perform
and grow as an artist. Here we are 3 years later, and I’m humbled to

International Connections Academy, an accredited online private school for students in grades K-12, is making it easier for families moving or currently living abroad to transition their children to school anywhere in the world through its new online education resource for expat families.

Utica College President Todd S. Hutton announced today that the College is resetting the on-campus undergraduate tuition price beginning Fall 2016. The new tuition price will be under $20,000, and the college will continue to offer both need-based and merit-based financial aid to lower the cost to qualified students and their families even further.
“We consider this tuition reset to be a bold move for tomorrow,” Dr. Hutton says, “because in improving affordability, we are also expanding access to a high quality Utica College education that launches our students’ successful futures.”
The tuition reset comes at a time when private colleges and universities throughout the nation are taking a hard look at their pricing system. Many college-bound students and their families do not realize that the full price will likely be deeply discounted for them by a private college, and so they experience “sticker shock” upon seeing the published price.
