The 11th conference of the Eurasian Media Forum (EAMF) will take place in Astana on 25 and 26 April 2013.

SCAD’s second annual deFINE ART, which ran Feb. 22 - 26, attracted thousands of visitors. deFINE ART featured lectures by prominent figures in the art world, special exhibitions, commissions, student showcases, performances and other events, all of which were free and open to the public.
As one of the highlights of this year’s programming, deFINE ART honored performance artist Marina Abramović for her groundbreaking work and influence on contemporary art. The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) reported today that 2011 is on track (final numbers will be published in the fall) as yet another consecutive year of declining vehicle thefts. Four of the top 10 Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) reported more thefts in 2011 (+925 collectively) while the remaining six posted fewer (-2,017 collectively).
