According to the FBI, in 2013 more than 400,000 children were reported missing in the United States. National AMBER Alert Awareness Day, recognized annually in January, is a reminder of the dangers that face our children. Building on the significance of that day, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) and Honeywell (NYSE:HON), with spokesperson Tia Mowry, today announced the KidSmartz™ “Safety Dance” Video Contest, a nationwide competition aimed at equipping elementary school students with the skills and confidence they need to be safer from abduction.
Actress Tia Mowry, star of Nickelodeon sitcom Instant Mom and real–life mother, has teamed up with NCMEC and Honeywell to promote KidSmartz and encourage schools to participate in the “Safety Dance” contest which provides kids a fun way of learning the four rules of personal safety.

The Absurdimals are a group of hybrid animals here to shake up our perception of normal! They represent the changing faces of our society and encourage children to embrace their individuality, while respecting that of others.
Lola the Belephant is excited to go to school for the first time, until she finds out she’s not quite the same as the other animals. Treated like an outsider, and experiencing discrimination, Lola makes a fortunate – albeit accidental – run-in with Principal Hooves who tells her about the divided history of animals, and the simple truth that has since brought them all together.
Once Lola realizes that there is no such thing as being too different, she goes back to school with a renewed sense of confidence. In learning to accept and love herself for who she is, Lola inspires other “normal” animals to come forward, and embrace their own perceived absurdities, too! Usually, people think that lightning is the fastest thing in the world. Is there anything else comparable with lightning speed? Recently, an experiment was conducted, comparing the unlocking speed of a mobile phone with lightning speed, and the OPPO F1 Plus mobile phone was chosen because the tagline says it can unlock in 0.2 seconds.
The experimenter released the lightning by means of Tesla coil and triggered switch and fingerprint membrane, and the experimental result shows that lightning and OPPO F1 Plus unlocking almost simultaneously happen.
OPPO F1 Plus fingerprint unlocking so fast lies in its recognition system, featuring adaptive, self-learning, and dynamic matching abilities. OPPO F1 Plus can adapt to the various states of the user’s fingers, and dry or wet fingers can smoothly unlock it. Under certain conditions, the system will automatically learn, and constantly improve, the fingerprint information of the users, thus decreasing obviously false acceptance rate and false rejection rate. Meanwhile, the system database template image sequence will dynamically adjust according to the habits of the users, with 0.2s unlocking more quickly and conveniently.
