Directed by Jamie King, Michael Jackson ONE will start its preview performances on May 23, 2013 and have its media premiere on June 29. This entirely new show is the second creative project to be developed between Cirque du Soleil and The Estate of Michael Jackson after the top grossing Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour, currently playing arenas in Europe as it travels the world.

Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli (Schweiz) AG today celebrated the official opening of LINDT SWISS CHOCOLATE HEAVEN at the Jungfraujoch “Top of Europe,” 3,454 meters above sea level, together with the Jungfrau Railway and LINDT brand ambassador Roger Federer. The themed chocolate shop offers a wide range of the finest LINDT chocolate, and the adjacent Master Chocolatiers parlor gives visitors a fascinating insight into how chocolate is made.
However, the highlight of the official opening was the tennis exhibition match between LINDT brand ambassador and tennis champion Roger Federer and American ski racer Lindsey Vonn, which was played on the Aletsch Glacier against the backdrop of the Alps. On May 8, 1945 the world celebrated the end of World War II in Europe, but for some young American children it represented the beginning of a lifetime without their fathers. It’s estimated that more than 180,000 American children were left fatherless after the war. “War always leaves behind dead soldiers, grieving widows, grieving parents and children, who have suffered a loss over which they have no control,” said Geraldine Conway Morenski, whose father is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery.

One in 10 working people surveyed in Europe have taken time off work because of depression, with an average of 36 days lost per episode of depression, according to a new survey from the European Depression Association. This equates to more than 21,000 days of lost working time in this group of people. However despite the size of the problem, nearly one in three managers reported they had no formal support or resources to deal with employees who have depression, and 43% called for better policies and legislation to protect employees.
