Compared to the previous years the average price of a mobile home increased by almost 4% in 2009 and cost round about 56,000 Euros. Thus, the average price is about that of what a well-equipped, converted van would cost. And this is where the trend is headed: the buyers are in particular interested in multi purpose vehicles. Manufacturers can partially record a strong increase in sales.

Just in time to the increase in prosperity of well known economic institutes the caravaning industry also comes along with a smile on its face. The business-fair about mobile homes, caravans and camping offers everything for the unbelieably solvent customer down to the economically priced model with a Dacia Logan base. But there are also news for the nearly ancient mobile homes: filters for carbon-particulate matter to upgrade cleaning systems for exhaust-emissions. A brighter future for old diesel-engines in Germany.

An international team of researchers led by Gerard D. Schellenberg, PhD, a member of the CurePSP Genetics Consortium and professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, has identified three new genes that can increase the risk of people developing Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). PSP is a rare neurodegenerative brain disease, similar to Parkinson’s disease, which causes severe disability by destroying parts of cells that allow the brain to function normally. While PSP has underlying biological similarities to Alzheimer’s disease, a disease which primarily affects memory, PSP impacts a person’s physical movement and bodily functions. PSP leads to progressive decline in patients — there is no known cause or cure. To view Multimedia News Release, go to http://multivu.prnewswire.com/mnr/psp/49958/
