B-ball for the China earthquake victims was played steet style and raised over 80,000 HKD last week in an all out exhibition match between AND1 U.S.A and local celebrities team which included Jaycee Chan. Jaycee made major cash by catching nothing but air 8 times in a row in a free throw contest. 24 Herbs, SIR JBS MC'd the game and the whole band kept the fans out of their seats during halftime. The exhibition of stained-glass lamps created by Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933) and The Tiffany Studios fills the Biltmore Legacy exhibition hall in the estate’s Antler Hill Village. Known as “Tiffany Lamps: Articles of Utility, Objects of Art,” the exhibition comes to Biltmore from The Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Glass in New York City. It is an in-depth look at the Tiffany Studios’ efforts to produce lamps that balance artistry with utility and profitability.

The CCCL Austellungsmannschaft (Luzern's chef's guild competition cooking team) led by Chef Leonard recently completed their 4th team test cook in preparation for the IGEHO exhibition in Basel in November, only 1 more test cook remains in order to correct the dishes so that finished items look perfect. To assist the team in their cause to achieve this perfection 2 of the Swiss Cooking associations top judges (Franz Jonke and Werner Schumacher) were invited to critique the dishes which will be on display on the 25th November, their expertise and assistance will allow the team progress to the next level and hopefully aid our cause to achieve some medal status at the competition itself.
Last night, Boston celebrated in style with a gala reception to honor the arrival of Harry Potter: The Exhibition to the Museum of Science. Beginning Sunday, October 25, Harry Potter fans will get the chance to step inside the famous wizard's magical world when the exhibition opens to the public. Visitors will be able to experience dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts™ film sets and see the amazing craftsmanship behind authentic costumes and props from the films. The exhibition will run through February 21, 2010.
