The event is part of a five-market tour, visiting JCPenney stores around the country. As part of the tour, Nastia is providing young girls motivational advice on achieving their goals, feeling confident and being smart, strong and empowered—being a Supergirl. Liukin also introduced the new fun, affordable lifestyle collection, which is available exclusively at JCPenney stores nationwide.

For the fourth consecutive year, these unique events will feature more than 100 of the world’s top female action sports athletes competing in surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and inline skating. The Supergirl Jam is the industry’s only large-scale, all-girls action sports competition and is designed to celebrate female strength, independence and empowerment. In 2010, the Supergirl Jam series will kick-off with three events, each highlighting the sport’s most talented female pros as well as up-and-coming amateurs.

It was "standing room only" at Six Flags Great Adventure's premiere of the highly-anticipated, new, stand-up thrill coaster, GREEN LANTERN, based on the DC Comics' Super Hero. Standing 15 stories tall and reaching speeds of 63 mph, GREEN LANTERN ranks among the tallest and fastest roller coasters of its kind anywhere in the world.
Members of the media, roller coaster enthusiasts and families from Children's Miracle Network were on-hand for the launch of this epic thrill ride, which features more than three-quarters of a mile of twisting, green steel. GREEN LANTERN is open exclusively to season pass holders now through May 22 and opens to the general public May 25.
