SkyScreamer, the newest sensation in swing rides, has taken flight at Six Flags St.Louis! Famed pilot Erik Lindbergh and Wings of Hope pilots took the inaugural first flight. Standing at 236-feet, SkyScreamer is the tallest ride in the park and the centerpiece of Six Flags St. Louis' 40th anniversary season. Each of the double, open air swings provides a front row seat for the 32 guests that climb to the top of the SkyScreamer during each flight. Spinning round and round, with feet dangling, guests soar in a 98-ft. circle at speeds up to 43 mph. The massive "world" globe that sits atop the bright, multicolored SkyScreamer tower can be seen from miles away. SkyScreamer is the first swing ride manufactured by Funtime to be built in the United States. Funtime is based in Austria and has been a leader in unique thrill rides since 1972. It isn t hard to hear that JAMES MOONY is at his best firing lines over mighty basses, never giving the listener a chance to catch his breath. His presence on the microphone allows him to cope without any features on all 13 tracks. It s all about his visions, his lyrics and his voice. The album was recorded and produced by the producer trio Come Clean, who supplied the young vocalist with energetic instrumentals. jamesmoony Born in Ghanas Capital Accra, in 1985, Mumuni Mohammed gathered his first musical experiences singing in the local choir. In the mid 90s he then moved to Austria s Capital Vienna, together with his parents. It was in Vienna where he had his initial contact with the club atmosphere and discovered his passion for driving, electronic sounds. In the year 2000 he then took his first own musical steps, setting up his home studio and absolving his first shows. Two years later he became a part of KDC, a HipHop and Dancehall formation, with whom he performed in Clubs in and around the cities borders. In the year 2007 JAMES MOONY moved again. The terrain is rather unusual for presenting a Dakar Rally team, but three weeks before the rally is due to begin in Argentina, Volkswagen’s racing division has descended on the Austrian village of Flachau. Even the gods relented at the last moment, sending snow from the heavens. Not the best road surface for the participants of the desert rally, which starts on 1 January 2010, to practise on, but certainly ideal for the team presentation. A fantastic atmosphere and plenty of fun are definitely what count for that.

Takeda today announced the launch of a new expert Report on COPD, introduced at a Takeda organised press conference on the occasion of the 2012 European Respiratory Society (ERS) Annual Congress taking place from 1- 5 September in Vienna, Austria. The Report, entitled ‘The Shifting Paradigm in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Management,’ was initiated and developed by Takeda Pharmaceuticals International GmbH and is a compilation of opinion articles from a panel of key international respiratory experts, the European Federation of Allergy and Airways Diseases Patients’ Association (EFA) and COPD patients, reflecting updated guidance and research. The new expert Report was developed in response to a recent shift in emphasis in COPD management which now places future risk at equal importance to treatment of current disability. Beim diesjährigen GTI-Treffen am Wörthersee gab es einen Ausblick in die Zukunft, wie der Ur-Vater aller sportlichen Kompakten vielleicht einmal aussehen könnte. Von echten Rennautos haben sich die Designer und Ingenieure inspirieren lassen. Heraus gekommen ist ein GTI, der schon im Stand kein Hehl daraus macht, was seine Bestimmung ist. In 3,9 Sekunden ist Tempo 100 erreicht, seine Höchstgeschwindigkeit liegt bei über 300 km/h. Möglich macht das ein Bi-Turbo V6 mit 503 PS. Auch VW Nutzfahrzeuge hat ein entsprechendes Showcar für das GTI-Treffen auf 22 Zoll-Räder gestellt. Die Basis bildet der Amarok. Passend zum bulligen Outfit arbeitet unter der Haube ein V6 TDI mit 3-Liter Hubraum und erzeugt satte 200 kW (272 PS). Der Hingucker bei den Fans war natürlich der Polo R mit dem VW erfolgreich in der Rallye-Weltmeisterschaft unterwegs ist. Für die meisten Besucher wohl die einzige Chance dem erfolgreichen Rallyeauto einmal zum Greifen nah zu sein.
