As the colder winter weather takes hold across the country, it’s important for homeowners to ensure their heating systems are ready to stand up to the frigid temperatures. To help prevent unexpected breakdowns, American Home Shield, the nation’s largest provider of home warranties, is offering five expert tips to maintain heating systems and help ensure homes stay warm.
“Over the last five years, we responded to more than two million service requests for heating system issues, and with a few minor maintenance checks, many of these issues may have been avoided,” said Mike Clear, vice president of operations for American Home Shield, a business unit of ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SERV). “With one of the nation’s largest networks of independent service contractors, we take pride in our ability to keep customers warm if winter heating issues occur.”

This London 2012 Olympics video, was created as a motivational piece also for the legacy of London 2012. Look at what is being said and ask yourself, are you going for what you want in your life, or are you busy watching other people and staying stagnant. This video was made at a point where it was hard to feel like a WINNER, but there is nothing more powerful than being able to express yourself through creativity. Go for your dreams, never stop. Year after year, there are many people who do not come out of the woods alive. And if they happen to make it out alive, they will have a story to tell. Some run, but not fast enough. Some hide, but not good enough. Grace (Lisa Johnston) and her boyfriend Rodney (Chad Waites) are destined to fall under the Booby Trapper’s blade, but rogue cop Mike Hawk (Robert Collins) is patrolling these woods as well – seeking out the reason behind these brutal slaughters. The closer the Mike Hawk gets to catching the person responsible for these serial killings, the closer he gets to un-covering his own mysterious past.
Directed by Richard Stephenson, this film looks super low budget, super gritty, and super fun. You can call Stephenson grew up on slasher movies like the rest of us and is putting his love for the genre to work. While a little cheesy in spots, and a little too many day-time shots, based on the trailer below I\\\'d say this one is one to watch out for.

With the kick-off of pro football season and September marking National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the American Urological Association (AUA) Foundation and the National Football League (NFL) have teamed up for a third year to educate men about prostate health and encourage them to join the “Know Your Stats” campaign. With the support of an increasing number of NFL greats and prostate cancer survivors, the national campaign is focused on turning awareness into action by encouraging men to know their risks and get tested.

The Attention Powered Car, developed by
the RAC, is into leg 3 of its road trip around WA visiting towns
including Donnybrook, Nannup and Pemberton, heading to Albany and then
finishing in the Wheatbelt town of Narrogin. In this
episode we put two drivers behind the wheel that drive for a living. We
wanted to see if their professional experience influenced their
attention levels. How will our Ambo and Australia's best truck driver
perform? First up was Mike. As a St John's Ambulance
Volunteer, he needs to be calm and confident driving under pressure and
at high speed. And it showed. So too with our second driver, Murray,
who's TNT Australia's best truck driver. Both came out determined and
focused to prove they had the edge. To some degree they did. Incidences
of inattention were fewer and further between, but they were still
there. Encouragingly, both drivers were much better at refocusing when
they did lose attention. Check out this webisode to see
just how they performed, as well as what insights we are finding about
driver inattention as we take the Attention Powered Car through
southern WA.
