Derek Eastman Sensei a direct student of the legendry Budo master Kenshiro Abbe Sensei, a pioneer from the early days of Aikido in the 1950s at the now famous Hut Dojo. Eastman Sensei with his unique memory of all the different early teachers and their varied styles demonstrates the changes from the first techniques by Kenshiro Abbe Sensei to Tadashi Abe - Masahilo Nakazono - Masamichi Noro as the early Aikido progressed and developed.

Teachers, our education system’s most integral component, suffer from inadequate resources in the classroom, which, in turn, hampers their ability to meet students’ needs. Very often, people hear their family members or neighbours telling them that Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is caused by: video games, TV, music videos, single parent families, parents who work too much, computers, inexperienced teachers, etc.. and that's just bull.
