Emmy Award-nominated actor and producer John Stamos (FULLER HOUSE, SCREAM QUEENS) is set to host the 37th annual edition of PBS’ A CAPITOL FOURTH, broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. The all-star musical and fireworks extravaganza will kick off the country’s 241st birthday with performances by: iconic multi-platinum selling music legends The Beach Boys, with special guests John Stamos (drums) and Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath (vocals); soul men Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi of The Blues Brothers; legendary Motown stars The Four Tops; THE VOICE Season 12 winner Chris Blue; acclaimed country music singer and songwriter Kellie Pickler; Grammy-nominated gospel legend Yolanda Adams; and Broadway star and two-time Tony Award-nominee Laura Osnes (BANDSTAND); with the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of top pops conductor Jack Everly. Multi-talented actress and singer Sofia Carson (DESCENDENTS 2) will open the show with a special performance of the “National Anthem.”

Last night, MGM Resorts International celebrated the milestone grand opening of its newest live entertainment venue on the Las Vegas Strip – Park Theater at Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. The dazzling theater came to life with inaugural performances by legendary singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks and renowned rock group The Pretenders.
The evening began with an unforgettable performance by The Pretenders, wowing guests with rousing renditions of their most beloved songs including “I’ll Stand By You” and “Back On the Chain Gang.” Then, prior to taking the stage, Nicks was presented with an honorary key to the theater and commemorated the unveiling of the venue by autographing a backstage wall, starting a tradition for all Park Theater performers to come.

The sake was flowing and music was rocking in celebration of the debut of the world’s first Nobu Hotel Restaurant and Lounge Caesars Palace. Nobu Hospitality partners including Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro, Meir Teper, Trevor Horwell and Struan McKenzie joined Caesars Palace in marking the completion and introduction of one of the hottest new boutique hotels featuring 181 rooms including 18 luxury suites. The highlight of the weekend was a traditional Japanese Sake Ceremony and party on Sunday, April 28 with a special musical performance by Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran poolside at the Garden of The Gods complex at Caesars Palace.

As the singer of her former all female band Lunachicks, she inspired a gaggle of young girls and boys to emulate her style and start bands of their own. For over a decade she toured around the world with the likes of Marilyn Manson, Rancid, The Offspring and many others. Theo is also an actress and has been in films directed by Martin Scorcese, Jane Campion, and cult classics like High Times Potluck, and Terror Firmer by Troma Films and the animated feature Live Freaky Die Freaky. She is also involved in Avante Garde Theater, in the roster of NYC’s prestigious Performance Space 122 and the Summer Play Festival and Rotozaza UK and numerous collaborative performances with BIG ART GROUP, Theo\'s ongoing collaboration with Rob Roth in SCREEN TEST.2 in Jan 2008. Theo also hosted the hit Fuse show Pants Off, Dance Off, and had television roles on Law And Order SVU, Third Watch and more. She also appeared on VH1\'s The Metal Years and My First Time. She also did motion capture for the new game by the makers of Guitar Hero called Rockband. Characters in the game are based on her movement! Theo is a budding business mogul, about to launch a new lip-gloss and make up line called Armour Beauty with partner Allison Burns. The line will launch in Jan 2008. A wonderful musician and friend of mine has recently departed from our world and is now starting his new life under God's great care and guidance. Nikos will do very well in Heaven and will even delight the angels with his goodwill and music. "I am reaching out to you now from this world Nikos to present you with my gift of this song for you. The melody came to me immediate in my grief. Now with great joy, I embrace you as my eternal friend. There is no end for you now my friend Nikos. Only eternal bliss and fulfillment..... I suppose that I will have to behave myself a little bit more if we are to meet again and go fishing as I have promised.

The simplistic video serves as a very appropriate accompaniment to Fiona's pop-synth sounds. Featuring Fiona with her lover spending time on the beach, the video tinges with a bright, energetic vibe. Fiona herself wears a headpiece and is radiant in her array of colorful dresses.
The single itself is a great mix of pop and Euro-dance. While Fiona claims clear influence from the euro-dance movement, her vocal abilities and musical style closely resembles that of mainstream American singers.
