And the Volkswagen team has been working really hard on the latter in the Austrian village of Grän. Rafa Nadal is being taught how to play poker and PokerStars has filmed him learning a vital poker skill – the bluff – in a unique and unusual way. Rafa spends a few hours working at the reception desk of a golf club in Majorca, serving surprised customers throughout the day – as one of the most famous sportspeople in the world, people understandably recognise him. When he’s asked if he’s Rafa Nadal he tries to bluff them and convince them that he’s not. The clip is filmed in a ‘hidden camera’ style.

World tennis number one Rafa Nadal emerged as winner of the EPT Charity Challenge, beating Brazilian football legend Ronaldo and world number one poker player Daniel Negreanu.
The tournament, played as part of the European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague poker festival has been dubbed the greatest gathering of sporting professionals at a poker table. Nadal, Ronaldo and Negreanu joined former Ukrainian footballer Andriy Shevchenko, Italian skier Alberto Tomba and Dutch Olympic field hockey gold medallist Fatima Moreira de Melo–competing for their share of a €100,000 charity prize pool.
