It’s normal to have uric acid in your body, but too much can increase your risk for gout – an extremely painful form of inflammatory arthritis that often presents with other health issues, including kidney disease, heart disease, diabetes and permanent joint and tissue damage. Despite this, just 10 percent of gout sufferers are being properly treated – and more than one-third have not had their uric acid checked in the past five years.
To raise awareness about the need for timely treatment for gout – including regular monitoring of serum uric acid (sUA) levels – the Gout & Uric Acid Education Society (GUAES) has introduced a new “Go for Six” campaign. The campaign urges those who have or who are at risk for gout to get their sUA levels checked every six months, and to work with their doctor to determine a treatment plan for controlling gout and keeping sUA levels to a healthy 6 mg/dL or below.

The Times of India “A Day in the Life of Chennai” advertisement won the historic first Cannes Golden Lion for a film from India. It was produced by Good Morning films (www.goodmorningfilms.com)
The main crew that set out to shoot this film was not unlike a task force from the UN. UP-ite, Bengali, Punjabi, Parsi, Malayalee, Hyderabadi, Englishman from Australia and Germany and of course Tamilians of Chennai all comprised the backgrounds of the chief technicians of this film.
Jason West (of “Rock on” fame) was entrusted with shooting the Times Of India film and the music was produced by Vijay Anthony and sung by the renowned female folk singer Chinnaponnu.
The location used was Kasimedu - Chennai’s Dharavi, Dongri and Kamatipura all rolled into one. Surprisingly this underbelly of Chennai proved to be not only the most exciting but also the most cooperative and accommodating for our shoot.
The cutouts from the ad ranged from 12 to 50 feet! With the monstrous size of 50 feet also came the nightmarish logistics that were minor issues compared to the fact that all cut outs (except those of the ruling party) were banned from being put up in the city of Chennai! Some swift maneuvering so in some cases, we had to just had to sneak in, get our shots and get out without disrupting normal activity and attract unwanted attention!
The official permission letter for shooting on the various public locations across Chennai reached us only on Day 2 of the shoot and that too with allotted time slots which were the complete opposite of what was requested in the shooting plan submitted to the cops!
Brilliant maneuvering by the production team and some kamikaze shooting techniques adapted by director Bob and DOP Jason resulted in some of the memorable shots and moments of the film.

So that you wish to drive like Tiger and learn Golf Tips putt like Ben Crenshaw, huh?
do not we all?
Lengthy drives and accuracy are a bit like oil and water in terms
of a combination but they do not have to be. Just envision if
you could strike your drives persistently within the fairway 250
yards + almost every time…wouldn’t that make the game a
great deal easier…and enjoyable?
Golf Lessons Irvine http://www.GolfSwingPrescription.com Call (949) 554-9926 - Are you looking for golf lessons in Irvine (or the nearby area) or just golfing tips in general? Ryan Trengrove (Class A PGA member), owner of a state-of-the-art indoor golf training facility called Golf Swing Prescription (Laguna Hills, CA), shows you how conquer one of the most common problems in Golf - keeping your lower body stable while swinging the golf club!
Ryan states that if you can get your lower body to be more stable, you will have a lot more fun when you are playing golf. Ryan shows you a video of one of Golf’s great player’s, Davis Love III, to display great lower body stability. Ryan points out how Davis’s lower body not only stays in the “same sit” and “same flex” as Davis goes up to the top of his golf swing, but, also when he goes back down to hit the golf ball.
Ryan also points out the importance of NOT having your lower body “sway”, but to have it “swivel” instead. The goal is to keep the lower body in its flex, so that you can have it sit, and keep the hip in the same spot. If you are able to do this, as you come from the top of your swing down to the ball, you should make solid contact.
In order to assist you in achieving better lower body stability, Ryan shows you a golf drill called the “Feet Together Drill”. This drill has the golfer setup to hit the golf ball with their feet together, which will prevent the golfer from going “side to side” during the swing. The idea behind the drill is to have the golfer hit a number of shots with their feet together so that they can get the “feeling” of not “going side to side” and being stable. Once you get use to the feeling, then you can widen your golf stance, trying to maintain the same “stable feeling” felt during the drill, with your base “swiveling” and not “swaying”.
Ryan goes on to show you one more drill to help you that he got from Golf Professional, Nick Faldo called the “Right Foot Forward – Left Leg Back Drill” (just switch if you are left handed). The goal of this drill is to help you focus on keeping the flex in your right knee. You get in your normal golf stance, but, just move your left leg back a couple of feet, and then hit the ball. So what this drill does is to focus you on keeping the proper flex in your right knee.
What Ryan wants you to do is to work on the combination of the “Feet Together Drill” and the “Right Foot Forward –Left Leg Back Drill” so that when you get up to your golf ball you focus on staying centered – no “side to side” and keeping your right knee flexed. Ryan points out that if you can do this, that you should make better contact with the ball!
Ryan performs over 1,500 golf lessons per year, when compared to the average club pro that only conducts approximately 300. Ryan is extremely popular for a reason; his indoor

As the global relocation landscape continues to change, leading multinational companies are navigating through it with new approaches that help them get their preferred employees to take global transfers while controlling costs. For the seventh time since 2002, Cartus Corporation has released its Trends in Global Relocation: Global Mobility Policy and Practices survey report, which outlines the challenges companies are facing, the solutions they are employing and where they are sending their transferring employees. Sponsored by the National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC), the study elicited responses from 176 mobility managers – representing nearly 10 million employees, globally – on dozens of topics. Giving the Cornopean stop of the organ at Glazebrook Methodist Church just outside Salford, Cheshire a workout with "Nellie the elephant"! The organ was originally built by "Pendlebury Organ Company". It is interesting in the fact that there is an enclosed choir division consisting of 3 stops playable on the Great.
For generations, homeowners have clearly thought of windows when they heard the term glazing. Single, double and in the meantime also three or four times glazed windows - the properties of the glass however have changed dramatically. Noise and temperature insulation are features and also - if desired - opacity just by pressing a button. Now glass is increasingly becoming a facade, as a solar panel, as insulation or as a photovoltaic system. For Architects this development is really fantastic.
