Chef Leonard and his team were silver medalist winner at this years IGEHO culinary competitions, chef Leonard in the team manager of the Cercle des Chef de Cuisine de Luzern culinary team (www.cccl.ch), and together with Chef Schwarzenbach the team captain, the team claimed a silver medal awarded by the Swiss Culinary federation (www.kochverband.ch). Siegfried & Roy will introduce the world to the newest additions to their animal family when four six-week-old tiger cubs make their first appearance at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage Hotel & Casino on September 12 at noon.
Born on August 5 at the Secret Garden to mother Indira and father Svengali, these are the first tiger cubs to be introduced at The Mirage in five years. The USPSTF today issued a draft recommendation giving its second highest approval rating for CT screening for lung cancer for those at high risk, a move that if approved in final form, will trigger Medicare and insurance coverage and bring about a dramatic drop in the leading cause of cancer deaths.
