India is already the world’s sixth-largest market for machine tools, which is why it is under the spotlight at this year’s EMO Hannover fair. Metal certainly seems to be among the hard factors underlying the positive outlook for the Asian subcontinent.
Intelligence is the key to success – and that’s certainly true in the metalworking industry. Which is why EMO Hannover 2013 is dedicated to Intelligence in Production. It is a showcase for smart innovations and a sharing hub for ideas that are proven performers.
Things are humming along nicely here at EMO Hannover. The leading trade fair for the metalworking industry is home to the latest turning and grinding machines. But it’s not all metal on metal; there’s also a strong focus on sustainability, thanks to the German Engineering Federation’s “Blue Competence” initiative.
Continuous improvement is the way of all industry – and the metalworking industry is no exception. Production processes are getting smarter all the time, machines faster, and tools more accurate. EMO Hannover is all about metal, and over the next few days, all manner of solutions for machining and working it will be on show right here at the Hannover Exhibition Center, Germany.
