A brief description of the Compton electrone organ and includes me playing the hymn "Christ be our light" on the Compton electrone organ model 363 at Portobello Methodist Church in Willenhall, West Midlands.
The organ is located in an alcove at the front of the church on the right facing and the "rotofon" speaker is housed in a chamber behind an ornamental grille directly above the console.
One of 46 surviving bells made by Paul Revere’s foundry before his death found a new home at Boston’s Old South Meeting House, the famed place where the Boston Tea Party began. The 876-pound Paul Revere bell, made in 1801, was acquired from the First Baptist Church of Westborough, Massachusetts. The bell was connected to the original 1766 tower clock and will once again ring out the hour as it did in Colonial Boston.

Giving the 2 manual Wadsworth organ at Patricroft Methodist Church in Salford the theatre organ treatment with "Windows of Paris". Ironically, right next door to the church is the Lancastrian theatre organ trust heritage centre which is home to a Wurlitzer organ (originally from the Trocadero cinema, Liverpool) as well as many other theatre organ bits and bobs.
Me at the organ of Ombersley Road Methodist Church in Barbourne, Worcester where I was organist at during 2004 and 2005 before moving to Manchester. Im playing the hymn
Nearly beaten to death, months later his mother is shot dead in the kitchen of their home! Years of horrific child abuse so awful that a polygraph test is administered to reveal the truth and the court orders the records sealed! Years later working as a Bounty Hunter and Strong Arm Collector he makes a decision so big that it changes his life forever! As seen on National Television
Me on the organ at the beautiful Mousehole Methodist Church just outside Penzance, Cornwall. Im playing "If" which demonstrates the soft sounds on this fine organ. Mousehole (pronounced "Mouzel") is a very picturesque seaside village and well worth a visit! The organ here was originally built by Heard & Co of Truro in about 1903 and rebuilt in the 1940s by Hele & Co. It was overhauled in the 1980s by Lance Foy and electric action installed.
Here I am at Monton Methodist Church playing the very upbeat worship song "Shine Jesus shine" on the 2 manual Norwich electronic organ. The organ has 2 external speaker units installed in the roof at the front of the church and I have added pictures of these at the very end of this video for interest.
