Christina Christian is most widely recognized for her dazzling performances on American Idol. When her season of American Idol ended, she was one of the four contestants that were signed to a recording contract. Christina always loved to sing and as she was growing up, her musical mentors were Whitney Houston, Bette Midler and Patti LaBelle. The Film & Television Unit of American Humane Association is heading up the search for America’s Hero Dogs. Dogs may be nominated in eight categories: Law Enforcement and Arson Dogs; Service Dogs; Therapy Dogs; Military Dogs; Guide Dogs; Search and Rescue Dogs; Hearing Dogs; and Emerging Hero Dogs. Finalists in each category will be selected by the public from the pool of contestants, and the winners will be announced at the first-ever American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards™ celebrity gala, presented by CESAR® Canine Cuisine, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California on October 1, 2011.

It’s a new year and a fresh new look for American Airlines as the company today unveils a new logo and exterior for its planes, including the already delivered Flagship Boeing 777-300ER aircraft set to fly on Jan. 31. In addition, American plans to continue taking delivery of new planes this year as part of its historic orders for 550 new aircraft.
