Company executives were on hand to build the 10-millionth tool – a 20V MAX* XR Lithium Ion Brushless 3-Speed Hammer Drill (DCD996P2).
Across its seven U.S. manufacturing plants, the brand produced more than 90 million individual products Made in the USA with global materials in 2016, an almost 50 percent increase from the 62 million individual products in 2015, just one year earlier. This is a meaningful accomplishment towards the brand’s effort to expand its domestic manufacturing using global materials, an effort that began in 2013. In addition to Charlotte, DEWALT operates manufacturing facilities in New Britain, CT; Greenfield, IN; Hampstead, MD; Shelbyville, KY; Cheraw, SC; and Jackson, TN.

The best lumberjack athletes in the country return to Milwaukee from July 27 to 29 to thrill fans with amazing athletic performances in the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Series Championships. For the second straight year, German Fest Milwaukee will host the event. A record 15,000 fans attended the 2017 U.S. Championships and another record crowd is expected this year.

The STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series will be bringing the top lumberjack athletes in the country to Milwaukee this summer. The Series will host its U.S. Pro and Collegiate Championship at German Fest, at the BMO Harris Pavilion at Henry Maier Festival Park in Milwaukee, from July 28 to 30. The top 20 professional and eight collegiate athletes will chop and saw their way toward the title of Best Lumberjack in the USA.
The STIHL® TIMBERSPORTS® Series pits premier lumberjack athletes in thrilling and grueling chopping and sawing competitions to determine the top lumberjack in the country. The Series, which is in its 32nd season, will air on ABC in the fall with re-airs on ESPN, ESPN2 and NBC Sports.
