Bonefish Grill is turning National Martini Day into a month-long celebration in June. While the official day dedicated to America’s favorite cocktail is June 19th, the fresh fish experts are offering guests a flavorful array of hand-crafted martinis priced at $5 every Monday for the entire month.
Bonefish Grill martinis are already a favorite on the restaurant’s extensive bar menu – perfectly complementing their wood-grilled fresh fish and seasonal seafood offerings. In fact, the mighty martini is on-the-rise nationwide. A report published by the U.S. Beverage Alcohol Forum found that vodka – a main ingredient in martinis – accounts for over a third of all spirits consumed in the country, and that number continues to grow.

Just like people, dogs have their good days and bad days but for the 4.7 million dog bite victims each year, a dogs’ bad day can result in serious injury or even death. In 2012, State Farm® had 3,670 dog bite claims and paid more than $108 million as a result of dog bites. This is a slight decrease compared to the number of dog bite claims in 2011 (3,750 claims) and a slight decrease in the amount paid as a result of dog bite claims in 2011 ($109 million).

“Across the country we’re seeing an alarming number of what we call staged accidents,” said Joe Wehrle, NICB president and chief executive officer. “These are crashes that are made to look like accidents, but in reality are carefully orchestrated scenarios aimed at collecting medical and vehicle damage payments from insurers. The simple truth is they are expensive and dangerous. We are working with our member insurance companies and law enforcement partners to put the people that commit these crimes behind bars.”

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer-powered charity dedicated to funding children’s cancer research, is recognizing National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with a number of activities planned throughout September. As the leading non-governmental funder of childhood cancer research grants, St. Baldrick’s is asking people to get involved by helping to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research.
“One in five kids with cancer will die in the first five years of diagnosis, and those that do survive face a lifetime of serious health issues caused by the toxicity of their cure,” said Kathleen Ruddy, CEO of St. Baldrick’s. “The American public wants kids with cancer to be a national health priority, but our leaders are leaving these kids behind with the lack of federal research funding. We are calling upon everyone to speak up about the need for increased childhood cancer research funding as well as to stand up in support of kids with cancer during this important month.”
Today, as part of the official kickoff for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, St. Baldrick’s will ring the opening bell at the NASDAQ Stock Market. St. Baldrick’s board members will be joined by researchers, as well as children and families directly affected by childhood cancer.

One of the key issues to be discussed at this year's St Petersburg International Economic Forum on 16-18 June is the financing of Russia's modernization. A number of sessions will be devoted to this subject, in particular the session 'Raising Capital for Russia's Growth' on June 18, co-produced by UBS and televised by Bloomberg TV.
As the Russian President, Dmitry Medvedev, noted at a news conference held at Moscow's Skolkovo management school on May 18, 2011,
South Padre is never out of visitors and witnesses a good number of them coming even during other parts of the year. The popularity of spring break South Padre Island makes visiting this destination until reservations are made for lodging facilities well ahead of time. During the other parts of the year hotel and lodging rates are considerably low in comparison to other beach areas.
Inertia tours is the number one choice for Spring Break Party Packages. Party, Meet Celebs and enjoy the worlds most beautiful beaches. Don\'t spend your night in line and then empty your wallet at the door.
The list of things depends on the destination chosen for spring break 2014 and also the number of days one plans to go for vacation trip. Some common things to be taken can easily be shared if the group is a big one. Personal things however need to be taken care of individually.
St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was held, bringing together more than 12,000 participants from 133 countries, including media representatives and business and government delegations. On June 16, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, and Chairman of the SPIEF Organizing Committee Sergei Prikhodko gave a welcome address at the official opening of the Forum. Heads of states, government officials, and executives from leading international companies and organizations gathered in St. Petersburg for one of the key global business events of the year.
Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov highlighted the Forum’s significance. “One of the key achievements of this year’s Forum is that it has once again confirmed its reputation as one of the largest, most reputable, and indispensable global platforms for direct and frank discussion between representatives of the state, the business community, academia, and experts from all over the world on the current challenges facing the global economy and financial sector. The number of Forum participants continues to grow year after year, which is another testament to Russia’s enduring role as an important global business and finance hub. We highly value the interest and, more importantly, the trust of Forum partners, guests, and participants.”
