Astronaut Says ALSEP Equipment Not 1/6 Gravity- is As Heavy As it Was At Cape Canaveral Space Training Center. In being on the Moon, any weight of people and objects would be 1/6 of the gravity, than they are on Earth. Astronaut Jack in carrying the ALSEP experimental equipment before setting it up in the Fake Moon Bay, says that the equipment weighs almost as much as it did in the Cape Canaveral Space Training Center.
