In summer 2012, as the world’s elite athletes gather in London, the best of the world’s cultural talent will gather in Edinburgh as they do every year in what is the world’s leading Festival City.
2012 will see Edinburgh’s Festivals attract four million people to view 40,000 performances across more than 300 venues involving over 25,000 artists.
It’s the 65th anniversary of Edinburgh’s emergence as the pre-eminent festival destination; the Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Edinburgh International Film Festival began in 1947.

The Rhythm Foundation is a non-profit organization celebrating its 19th season of presenting outstanding international artists in South Florida. They are the foremost presenter of world music in South Florida - presenting more than 250 concerts, events and festivals by established and innovative artists from around the world. The Air National Guard is proud to announce the return of the Air National Guard Mobile Experience. The hands-on, immersive experience takes attendees on a journey through life in the Air Guard by letting them participate in simulated challenges that replicate real-life experiences of Air Guard men and women during Basic Military Training (BMT), technical training and on drill weekend. Through simulation, attendees will learn how they can serve their country while maintaining a fulfilling civilian life, by serving one weekend a month and two weeks a year near their home. The Air National Guard Mobile Experience includes five separate touring vehicles that are designed to educate Americans about Air Guard’s dual role in serving our nation and local communities. The touring vehicles will travel nationwide through November, and visit fairs, festivals, air shows, music and sports events, including Reebok Spartan and Lucas Oil Motocross races.
