Twin Reticulated Giraffes, the only living set of twins in the United States, celebrated their 1-year milestone birthday on May 10. The first-born female calf, Wasswa, has grown 4.5 feet and has gained 465 pounds. The second-born male calf, Nakato, has grown 4 feet and has gained 400 pounds.

Douwe Geluk a well known Dutch master of the Chinese martial arts participated at the Golden Bridge martial arts tournament 2019 in Lelystad city in the Netherlands.
This event was hosted and organised by sifu Mark de Haan of the KFVN Kungfu Vereniging Nederland.
Douwe Geluk from Apeldoorn city particpated with Taijiquan, Tai Chi Chuan also known as Tai Ji and won two golden medals at this Dutch event.

Twin Reticulated Giraffes, the only living set of twins and the second reported set of living twins born in the United States, were delivered at Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch on May 10, 2013. The first-born female calf, Wasswa, weighed 95 pounds and was 4.5 feet tall. The second-born male calf, Nakato, weighed 125 pounds and was 5.5 feet tall.
“Both Wasswa and Nakato are thriving,” said Tiffany Soechting, Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch marketing director and animal specialist caring for the newborn giraffes.

Bindu is the last village on the Indian side bordering Bhutan. It is known for its beautiful landscape with Jaldhaka River, hills and forests, which attracts a lot of tourists. With no retirement plans in sight, Dorothy Zehnder, co-founder of the family-owned Bavarian Inn Restaurant will celebrate her 95th birthday on Thursday, December 1 doing what she enjoys the most – working in the kitchen of one of the nation’s largest and most successful independent restaurants.
“I like working,” she says. “I like to cook, and I like people. What else is there that I would like better?”
The petite and lively matriarch doesn’t look much like a modern CEO, but don’t be fooled. Over the years, Dorothy has been involved with all the family’s business operations, all located in Frankenmuth – Michigan’s Little Bavaria.
